Freezing. It was 17 this morning when we went for our walk. I put my silk underwear on. That helped a lot.

It's 12:30 here and 42 degrees. Brrrrrrrr LOL This is actually pretty warm for us, we get down into the teens sometimes.

8 here at 7:45 a.m. According to weather.com 'feels like' -1. I know it was really chilly when I took Emi to school 20 minutes ago. I thought it was downright cold, until I read mush's temps!

Low 20s here at night. With wind howling Tuesday night, I wore a men's cashmere sweater to bed.

The sun is shining and it's in the teens here. We are supposed to get some rain and snow mix on Saturday, tho.

It is 16 here this morning but supposed to get cold over the weekend! LOL!! YIKES!

We care for a feral cat and her 4 kittens that were living in our field. I bought them an 'igloo' for the winter and put it on the covered patio. Tonight we are going to get the heated pad and a heated water bowl for them.

6:30am it's 38.....that's warm!

Very cold here in Massachusetts as well. It's mighty hard to get myself out to water aerobics even though the poo is nice and waarm.

Yesterday I wore my CuddleDuds for the first time this year. I kept forgetting to wear them.

It's 38 right now and only supposed to get up to 56. Tomorrow's high will be around 69, which will seem pretty warm. I wanted to do grocery shopping today but think tomorrow would be better.

It is 9 am and 27 degrees and feels SOOOOOOOO good!!! But they are saying 30pmh winds so wont feel good long.
Weather guesser says it is going to warm up and snow. Then cold,cold,cold. High Saturday 3 above and low that night -15 with a high Sunday of -5. Wonderful.

Yes, I'm freezing cold here on Long Island. It was 25 when I woke up and it's now 28. No snow, but very windy. They say we'll get rain on Sunday and it will be 50 degrees.

It's 49 now at 10:45am. Supposed to have a high of 71.

London, where I am now, got about a foot of snow on Monday and Tuesday, and it's been a few degrees below freezing.

On Tuesday the landlord's son phoned to ask how my driveway was, and I could see dirt on it. Landlord was at their newly-purchased cottage about 80 mi. n. of Toronto for the weekend and the family told him to stay there, so he returned home last evening (Wed.), had to detour around a 17-car pileup on the freeway about 30 mi. e. of London, came to check on me on his way home: nice guy

While at a neighbour's on Tues., we were thinking that travelling north a few miles near the storm going through London was not a good idea ...

... but when I left, being rather addicted to the internet, I turned north instead of south ...

... and got the 10 miles to the village where I visit the library without incident.

A few hours later, after dark, when I started home, the roads were good, except for a short space beside a farnmer's field where the road isn't higher, but I could get through using part of the far lane ... and there's very little traffic on that road. Also, had it been bad, I'd have gone back and taken another route.

Plus ... I had a shovel in the car. And extra coats, in case of getting storm-stayed.

Got home without incident.

Bright and sunny today.

Oh, yes - and I needed to go to town yesterday, which was a rather quiet day (but London was still digging itself out, and many of the side streets were still impassable: schools and libraries closed, which caused me an extra run of several miles, buses not running). While there, I got some new tires on, as mine were really bald (about as bald as I).

I travelled to the village where I often go to the library ... and it was open. So I got to post on the KT last evening.
