Thank you all again. I begin to doubt my choices after awhile as I'm getting worn out! I have decided on ORB. It seems to go well with my counter tops which are actually a bronze tone. I was expecting more of a black when I ordered them but the specks of color made them look different. The ORB handles have a great projection also, which my husband and I decided was important. My second choice would have been antique nickle as I think those would have looked nice as well. Again, I appreciate everyone's input... off to the finish line.

mojo,. must have left it in your car, cause I took them off on a very cold day, cause the sun had warmed the inside of the car. Ok, I'll hop on the next flight and pick it up. Thanks!

Hi gillylily, Your kitchen sounds like it's going to look beautiful. You basically are doing what I did in one of our homes, we had the black granite and also the chrome knobs and handles, and I also had the same trouble of choosing to go the black or the s/s or chrome. I decided on the oil bronzed, it's a very rich dark brown color for the pendant lights above the Island and then the 5 light chandler above the eating area. The lights were from Murray Feiss. Sorry I don't have a picture to show you, but I can tell you that they looked fantastic with the wood of the cabinets and the black of the granite, very elegant looking. Here's the picture of the lights.

Quoting seagrass: This makes me laugh. We are retired and with the exception of funerals we dress very casually. I would rather donate the money it would cost us to dress for this event seagrass I really appreciate your attitude and am inspired by your true understanding of giving. why do y'all supposed these events are so formal and pricey? Plus, after a while it seems like a circuit. Same familiar faces at hospital ball, univ ball, cancer society ball, yada yada. It's high society networking which has limited bearing on people being helped, no? it reminds me of a time we were asked to buy a "gold" table at some benefit. My acquaintance tried to persuade me by suggesting that she would buy a gold table at an event by my charity of choice if I bought a gold table for this event. I declined, thinking this was a zero-sum exercise. it seems bossy is not social, ha
