I let my feelings about Denise be known on the other Survivor thread. Guess my BS detector nailed it.

Too bad. I liked her at the start and was hoping she'd win until she started playing the pity card. Playing it again at the reunion show was just plain stupid. Did she really think the truth wouldn't come out?

Did she actually apologize? Denise isn't very articulate. She may have left out a few details. I think there is probably more to the story. I'm not really sure that I fully believe the school board either. They needed to cover their rear end more than she would have needed to lie.

This is from her bio and my comments before.

Sorry, but apparently she's not not quite the poor little lunchlady without employable skills who has to clean floors she presented herself to be.

She stated in front of God and everybody on live national tv that she couldn't have her job back because of her fame and that children were constantly coming up to her blah blah blah. That's isn't omission that's elaborating and in my book it's outright LYING.

wilchild, I read your post on the other thread, and was so surprised! Maybe the school IS trying to cover it's actions, by what was replied.....(?)

I thought her story sounded fishy at the time. What boss in his right mind would wrong a favorite player on the #1 show in America. Come on, that would just be asking for trouble.

I also was pulling for Denise until she started with the pity party...What a disappointment....Darn, I still wish James had still been around, I'm sure he would have won......

I'm not surprised she did the right thing, but I'm sure others will agree with what Blondie said (something like "Denise sucks at life."). Whatever... I liked her and still do.

I used to like Denise, but the last few episodes made me like her less and less. By the finale I couldn't stand her. She was just too negative and trying too hard for pity. I wanted to yell at the tv when she was on her rant about "this is all I have to go back to". No it isn't. If you hate your life so much, do somehting to change it! Don't just wallow and expect people to fawn all over you and hand things to you because they feel sorry for you. Although I would never say it out loud or even think of it in such nasty terms, I kinda agreed with Courtney.
