Can someone tell me.......Pop-ups?

Is it just me or has something changed here? I am getting pop-ups every few seconds on here & photobucket. I can't read the screen until I close it then it pops again. What can I do? I have the google toolbar stopping them. Any other suggestions?

This happened to me endlessly, until someone suggested I change my browser from Microsoft Explorer to Opera. I only use Opera now, and no pop-ups. It is a free download, so anyone can get it.

My pop-up blocker stops them, but I get that annoying
little "plop" sound everytime. LOL It is fairly new
with me - just started having so many a few days ago.

A seed germination flat requires much less medium, and is less likely to become stagnant from over-watering. Those vigorous seedling roots will take up the volume pretty quickly. That's a GOOD thing. A planting medium must be able to provide oxygen just as much as water or seedling die. Those seed starting mixes are very fine textured, more so than the coarse, fast draining properties of a general potting mix. And, as you've read, the germination flat can be heated very easily, which speeds the process considerably. The young transplants do not need that kind of special care. When growing commercially, I could focus on a few seedling flats that would result in a completely filled greenhouse! Now, one flat will germinate the hundreds of annuals and perennials I grow for ourselves, friends, and neighbors. MOSKVICHKA: perhaps they have not shipped your seeds, yet. Most credit card companies will allow you issue a complaint that will result in a refund, if you do not hear from the seed company.

Next time when you start, put a good layer of dry stuff at the bottom, and if some of the upper layers are too wet, gravity will help drain it into the dry bottom layer and spread out the moisture. When I first started making compost in a container, I had the same problem. Then my neighbor suggested buying one bale of straw and setting it on end against the wall (under cover) and cutting the ties. When I needed a dry layer, instead of tearing up newspaper, I would just lift a flake of straw off the top of the bale and put it in the composter. I seemed to have fewer moisture problems after I started doing this. Sue

Programs like the one you are trying to remove are fake antivirus that mess up your computer after installation. This typically happens from visiting a sketchy site: a fake message pops-up saying that your computer is infected and it can be cleaned up if you just install Product X. If you do that, you're giving permission for malware to be installed on your computer. I suspect that this may have happened when your son was using UTorrent. You should have a talk with him and anyone else that uses your computer to make sure there's no more clicking on stuff like this in the future, or visiting of dubious sites.

No pop-ups here, but that's not to say I won't start having them--lol. And I use IE.

Yes, I'm signed in. I use IE. I didn't use to get so many, now they are driving me nuts.
How can I stop them?

I use Microsoft Explorer as my browser, but I also have turned on the pop-up blocker in Norton Internet Security. Many pop-ups are blocked except for the one you are concerned about. I find that if I close the ad using the little "X" in its upper right hand corner, it does not come back to annoy me until a new page appears.
