A Note for The Christmas Movie game

The House Without a Christmas Tree is my favorite too. Gail Rock, the lady who wrote it, is from my home town (pop. 1,500). She was 5 or 6 years ahead of me. Her cousin Quentin, was in my class, and was at my 45th class reunion in Las Vegas. It is kinda based on her life. Her mother had died, and she lived with her Grandma and father, in a little house, next to my church.

I bought the DVD last Christmas.

Leslie I love that movie. That and A Christmas Story show how "real" people lived back then.

I love that movie too. My sister bought a VSH tape of it years ago and I borrow it from her each Christmas. I really should buy a DVD of it . She also has The Thanksgiving Treasure about the same little girl.
That is neat that the lady who wrote these stories is from your home town. Were the movies filmed in that town? I love how they used real places in the making of them.

I love 'em too. Did you ever see Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas?? You can get the DVD now and it's so cute. This clip looks to me like weird butterflies over a field of radishes. Thanks Casey! I always look forward to checking these out.

No, it wasn't filmed in our town, but I knew every place she was refering too. I have the Thanksgiving Treasure too. As I recall, she wore her hair long, and in braids. And she wore glasses too. She was a very smart girl. Tall. But then I've always been short. So everyone is tall to me, if they're over 5'6". And I was in grade school and she was in high school.
We did live in a laid back little midwest town. The life I refered to in "What I Missed From My Childhood".
