Here in the Raleigh area, we had a dusting over Thanksgiving and are expecting ice/sleet tonight through tomorrow morning. Yuk. Snow is always preferred! Hopefully, we will have a little white Christmas! It's certainly cold enough!

If it stays this cold, yes. We have about 3" here, west of Cleveland, OH. I don't think it will get above freezing between now and then, so it won't melt.

I wish it would STOP snowing for awhile! Sheesh we are in a snow band today of 4-9 inches. We just had snow Friday. Had snow on the Monday before that and twice the week before. lol

Oh my, yes. We started getting non disappearing snowfalls before Halloween. Now we're up to about 40 inches having fallen and maybe a depth of 2 feet still on the ground. The outdoor lights and decorations look fantastic with snow.

They're just getting about 300 cars and trucks cleared on a freeway between London and Sarnia, with some having been in their vehicles for 24 - 30 hours, as of just after noon yesterday, and most were taken to warming spots nearby. Need to run snowploughs through large banks carefully - there might be a car inside.

There's snow everywhere in London - they've got about a couple of feet of it. Schools, libraries, etc. shut down for a couple of days last week and some early this week.

Unless we get a lot of hot air - yes, we'll have a White Christmas!

Going to be hard to get rid of all the snow we have before Xmas so it'll be around. We're supposed to get some more starting tonight or tomorrow too. Kind of an old fashioned year for snow. Way ahead of the averages for the date anyway.

We too are getting snow and freezing rain and more coming but not as much as Connie is getting. Went to town today and main roads clear until you get to Minot then it is all downhill. Icy road this morning.

No snow here. I wish it would, that would be wonderful. I think it snowed 1 time about 20 yrs ago.

Yes - lots - YAY!! I love snow at Christmas - and even in January and February. Come March I'm ready for it to go away.

Here in central MN we have twice the snow wanted or NEEDED. Yes, we will have a white Christmas, and then some.

We'll have snow for Christmas...and Valentine's Day...and beyond! Strangely, we haven't had enough all at one time for our plow guy to do the driveway. Some melted. Some evaporated, but we still have about two inches on the ground and it's been and staying in the teens.

I'm 30 miles north of Chicago along Lake Michigan. (This is the GOOD side of the lake to live on when it snows. LOL)

We'll probably still have snow for Easter. And yes, I realize Easter is late next year, April 24th.

No snow here in s.Ga. ever. Can you'll please do a snow, I will show you mine if you will show me yours. It was 18 here last night. We get cold but never any snow.

Here in the southernmost city in Canada we had a 4 inch snowfall this week and the temps are frigid so I can't see the snow melting but here in the Banana belt you never know.
We could have rain and it would all wash away.

I've never had a white Christmas and would love to have one. But considering it hasn't snowed here since 1985, I don't think it will happen this year.

Here in northeast PA it's bitterly cold and windy, but we haven't had plowable snow yet. I'm happy to say there's no snow forecast for the weekend, because I have four places to go to and I'd like to do them all.

I loved white Christmases when we were a family of five living in our old farmhouse. But these days I venture out of the farmhouse on Christmas to celebrate in other homes, so I'm happiest when the roads are clear.

This Friday my DS and I are probably going shopping for a snow blower.

I sure hope not. We are in FL.

We will have snow here...have had it on the ground now for a couple of weeks, we got over a foot altho some has melted with temps a bit warmer, but I believe more on the way, we however will be spending Christmas with my grandbabies in Las Vegas, so no white Christmas for us

hmmm..... We've had 39 inches of snow so far with about 16 inches still on the ground. It's 9 days 'til Christmas and the highest HIGH temp predicted between now and then is 21 degrees. Snow is in the forecast here for every day between now and Christmas EXCEPT for Christmas Eve day. Yep... I think we'll have snow on the ground :-)

By the way... I live on the 'bad' side of Lake Superior. Actually, since I'm on the Keweenaw Peninsula, I am surrounded by Lake Superior on 3 sides, but one of those is definitely the BAD side!

It's hard to say. In Calgary we just never know what the weather will be like week to week. Odds are though, that we will have a brown winter. We have snow on the ground now, but Chinooks blow in and melt all the snow. We are having decent weather right now, but it is supposed to cool off in the next day or so. As for actually snowing on Christmas Day itself, that's rare. I hope it does. That makes the day even better.

Probably no snow. Although it can stay cold because in my mind, if you can't have snow, at least let it be wintery, blustry, cold, and a warm fire in the fireplace. Funny how you have an image what Christmas weather should be, but that is mine. I do wish it would snow on Christmas day. (and be gone the next day) LOL

I hope not. Last year we had a blizzard. Oklahoma doesn't normally have blizzards therefore we didn't enough have equipment to clear the roads.

Iowa wouldn't be Iowa without snow for Christmas. Fortunately, we haven't had enough to be a problem. My neighbor's snow blower is in the shop. I pay him to clear my driveway but will do it myself. An out-of-state friend offered to buy me a snow blower but I don't think I need one.

We had snow last Christmas and it was the first time I can remember. I honestly hope we don't have snow since it messes up travel so much. This area (Dallas) has no snowplows and any snow can be a problem.

We often get an ice storm, but that's usually in late January to early February.

NOt much snow here in SD but we are going to Bismarck ND for christmas and I know they have lots of snow there. Last year we were there and we had a blizzard that we couldnt get 30 miles away to see my dad on his last

Christmas with us. That was sad. we went up to see him the day after though.
