Let me work something out to send you:-) You WON this contest. Rosey, trust me when I tell you, I didn't kill any plants because I had no room? What I have never killed off any plumeria because of a lack of room, in fcat they require no room, except that is if you want to bring them into bloom by starting early and leafing them out. I got tired of all the work to get them to bloom and the bugs associated with them. I never had enough HOT sun to do them justice and if I started them early in the spring, I was always scared to put them anywhere near my other plants because they would infect them with bad pests. In fact, one year, I had put them in my greenhouse, the only place for warmth, and they infected all my plants with Thrips, Spider mites, and other maggots all at once. Never again. Now,if I can't put certain trouble plants in my grenhouse, or plant rooms and be safe, then I avoid certian ones. I do have just teh special ones given to me that sit on a heat mat under lights far away from the rest of my plants. Now, I play it safe.:-) Mike

There are a lot of recipes for pesto rolls around, so while it's not exactly a new invention it is a great idea. A lot of people make them like Linda did, all in one pan, but I've also seen them done in cupcake pans so you have individual ones. This is the recipe for that one. Cupcake Pesto Rolls This one uses a Peter Reinhart bread recipe, Pesto rolls but it's rather plain. I've seen them made with mozzarella inside as well as the pesto. That version really appeals to me. On one of the sites they show some Nutella pinwheels. I'll bet Nutella would be a nice option for a sweet roll for cooksnsews. If you made the pesto for a savory one and Nutella for the sweet but not cinnamon crowd it might work.

The fact that national (and even our local) tv stations cannot spell or do not check their spelling just drives me nuts. I yell at the tv at least once a day at my local station news broadcasts!! And I am even more appalled when the national shows screw things up. I yell at them and tell them I will come down and do that job because they really need it!!! I heard (wasn't looking at the tv) her say that, but instantly thought Minot and didn't realize she has said "Minto". Geesh!!

Carol its easily -50 windchill just a few miles from you! LOL I am speaking in my direction! Thermometer is reading -14 right now and the wind is blowing harder than it has all day! DH's wind gauge is showing steady 45mph most of the time. How much snow do you have over there? I thought the very eastern part of the state wasn't supposed to get this, but I saw Fargo on the national news tonight, looked worse there. Bismarck area had 11.5 inches at 6 am this morning. I know we haven't got near that (thank goodness) only maybe 6??? Thats a guess, its too blame hard to tell! We have a drift waist high in front of the house. Shoveled 3 times for the dogs so far, betcha its gotta be done once more before bed.
