SandyIA posted a website not long ago that has stuff on sale for one day only. I've been watching it every day and today they have a margarita maker for $29.99. It's regularly $199.99. It makes 16 eight ounce drinks. If you like margarita's or know someone who does, it sounds like a great deal. You could probably make other drinks in it, don't you think? Alcohol or not.

Thanks again for the site, Sandy. It's fun to see what's on sale.

I got the digital camera they had a couple of weeks ago. Under 60 bucks!

BUT: they charged our account 4 times with it. We did sweat a bit, but all but the needed charge was eventually taken off.

I am happy with my new camera.

If you like following one day sales, check out Woot! online shopping. They have a very good reputation. They even have a discussion board where you can ask questions about Woot! or about the products sold.

The descriptions of the products are written with humor while still being informative.

Our Wally World fabric section was scheduled to close. But, when everyone found out we started a phone and email champaign, then we had a sign up protest sheet in the department and at the schools. I live in a rural area, not many choices here, plus we have alot of Mennonite and Amish families who also purchase there. WalMart called the local papers to announce they weren't going to close ours. Seed racks were another issue this past year, the usual 3 racks were down to only 1 Burpee rack and it was put up very late.

Another Bluestone Perennials sale! 50% off selected varieties. I've ordered a lot from them this year, and virtually everything was among sale-priced items. It makes me remember working at Frank's Nursery and Crafts as a teenager, and how the "regular price" was maintained for only legal minimum time spans, with basically everything rotating into a "sale price" at some point. I get stuff from Woot.com and Wine.Woot.com all the time. I've even gotten a few funny shirts from Shirt.Woot.com, and some stuff from their newest endeavor, Kids.Woot.com.

And the Woot-offs are so much fun, too!
