Good Morning Everyone! Vic, your new babies are so cute. I wish I could take one, but.... with me on the road, hubby has his hands full with the kitties. (I don't know why I say kitties, they are no longer babies). I'm sure Zack is just loving them to pieces. Susie, I'm glad you got your ornament. Tracy, did you ever get your calendar, I have another one here if you didn't. Fran, I'm glad you got the egg separator. I was beginning to worry. Margaret, wow! you got a nice package, but that does not surpise me. Sassy, Anita, did you get your boxes? I will be glad to send each of you something if they have been lost in the mail. I know if a package is going to get lost it will at Chrismas time. Mariann, I'm glad you were satisfied with the ornaments. Wendy, where are you? Theresa, I imagine you are in Michigan by now. Did you pack long underwear? Janell, I hope you had a nice holiday too. I hope I did not miss anyone; I hate standing in the corner. A seed round robin sounds good, but I will have to decline, was too busy on the road to collect any. I did however get the seeds wintersown that Vic sent me, and I thank you again. Happy Christmas Eve! Maddie outdid herself (and her card brought tears to my eyes!). There is a corn stalk angel, a corn cob santa, a hand-painted gold glass ornament, a box of candy, and a lapel pin that is a palm tree with a martini glass under it (where did she get THAT idea?). You can see the pin if you look really hard on the branch on the right side of the angel's head and bottom of candy box. Thank you, dear Maddie! I'll always remember the first photo we all saw of you, highlighted in candlelight at a Christmas Eve service. Ooops, just looked and the silver tree ornament on the right side is mine. Thought I got all mine out of the picture range. Special thanks to Suzanne for walking us through the picture process! Milkdud, I am so happy you liked the ornament. I found it the week you were struggling with your food choices and just could not resist! DH and I will be alone tonight. We'll have a quiet dinner and then light the luminaries to match all our neighbors around the lake. We usually try to walk around in the stillness and just take in all the light. Good two-weeks-until Christmas Eve! I swore last weekend that I'd finished my Christmas shopping, then SD announced that she was bringing her new boyfriend for Christmas, so that meant another trip out today to buy for him. Can't have anyone just sitting there on Christmas morning while everyone else is opening their gifts!!! Actually, he was the easiest person on my list to shop for.LOL Suzanne, I not only copied your recipe for the mug cakes, but I also copied and saved the photo! I want to make those next Christmas. Too much on my plate this year as I'm realizing the hard way. My house is in desperate need of attention. Our trip is still not officially decorated yet, nor is the house. *sigh* Marci, I'm glad that you're feeling better. Once you announce your pending retirement, you'll feel even better! Raeanne, way to go on getting that physical! BJ, your ornie will be on its way tomorrow, so watch for it! Maddie, hope you did great on your test last night, and happy studying this weekend for the exams next week! Jan, I finally watched BL this morning, and it was so good! I've never been a Tracie fan, and I thought her face looked very wrinkly when she'd smile. Her excess weight left her 'loose'. Tikanis, do the best you can on working out. It's all you CAN do, so don't be so hard on yourself. I've got almost all my postal items ready to mail tomorrow morning, then I'm off to donate items to our local thrift store, and then to our church to wrap all the presents we bought last Thursday for the Angel Tree. Tomorrow night is a business Christmas party - a fancy dress one! Saturday night is hubby's company party, and it's also dressy. It's so cold here and will be for the next few days that I had to buy a dressy black wrap to wear with my party clothes this weekend. I have one more present to tend to before I can box it up for mailing, so I'll end now. Just wanted to check in with everyone. Have a good evening!
