Is very windy here today in NW La, so only took 4 photos of my mocker buddy. So I will share 2 of his portraits. At least the sky is blue and the sun is trying to shine Only 2.5 shopping days until Christmas....in case you lost count.

I got 1 winter cactus blooming too but the rest are still in small buds. I was having my roof replaced in the fall and the guys moved all my pot plants to 1 spot. I never had a chance to move them back. One day in mid November, I was watering the plants when to my surprise, found this orchid was blooming! You can see the winter cactus in the back with buds still.

All gorgeous photos! Our Shooting Stars are pale, pale pinkish-lavender. I would flip if I saw one like Ron's! We have nesting pairs of pileated woodpeckers, they are fabulous birds but so noisy! When they get going, the woods rock! I've never seen them at my suet feeder, maybe my feeder is too small for them. I should nail one to something bigger so they could eat from it. Thanks for the idea, Susan!
