Really don't feel like cooking, so thawed some of the five hour beef stew that I froze just 10 days ago sans potatoes. Will boil a couple small potatoes to put in it, add a salad and some sour dough bread to sop up the excess gravy. No dessert in the house other than some store bought sugar free cookies and vanilla 'healthy' ice cream. Good enough if we want anything later.

I really hope you're not coming down with anything, Patti.

I ran errands today and went and visited with my sister in the Home. She was happy that she got to go out to eat yesterday with a group from the Home. The new activities director is a gem in that she's always arranging outings, and having people come in to entertain, etc.

I had Stouffer's macaroni n cheese with a plain hotdog tonight.

I did not sleep well last night at all. Got up at 1 am thinking it was 7, and ate some pb.

It was too warm, last night, and I had winterized my bed and I slept HOT. Tonight is gonne be another warm night so bedroom ac unit is gonna be turned on.

Neighbor friend and I went to Mug Shots for lunch and it was fantastic.

I had their WillâÂÂs All American Burger, beef patty topped with bacon, fried egg, american cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo

Friend had their Savell
which is a hamburger all the way.

Their ff's are beer battered and out of this world!

We are having red bean with kielbasa and rice for dinner. I had errand to run this morning before the Auburn ball game. Auburn is winning 27-10 against the Georgia dawgs....

Never again will I go to Sam's Club on a Saturday unless Alabama is playing. It was a mad house!!!!

Well, I'm still having some mighty big pain from my shoulder all the way down to.my thumb. Found out Friday at the chiro that I have some bulging discs in my neck. Soooooo, I could pretty much care less what there is to eat, lol. Luckily, Robert is a good ' short order cook ' and likes to spend time in the kitchen.

I'll have just enough of something to buffer the meds I'm taking. I sure hope that I see some relief in the next few days from treatments from the chiro and the things we can do at home.

He will have left overs from last night. That steak was so thick, he only ate about half, and there's potatoes and gravy left over too. No mushrooms tho.

As for me.....grrrrrrrr I want:

Stew and sourdough bread....ohhhhh yessssssss......sourdough bread.........

macaroni and cheese...mmmmm gooey creamy mac and cheese!! YES! YES! YES!!!!!!

A sloppy, messy hamburger on a sesame seed bun with French fries........

What I most probably WILL have......chef salad. *sniff sniff*

oh....now I want red beans too

BUT....I most definitely DON'T want what rhizo's having.....feel better!!

After shopping and raking leaves, mixed up a batch of Egg Nog. Hot Dogs, fried taters, and beans, lots of ketchup.

Smoked salmon, onions and capers, a piece of bread.

patti, hope you are not catching a cold. Did you catch it from me!!

Dinner was chicken breast, macaroni salad. Dessert was cho. chip angel food cake

Patti hopefully with a good night's sleep you will feel much better.

Nice, sunny CA day again. Might get a drop of much needed rain midweek.
I have a flank steak marinating with a mesquite rub. Also grilling asparagus and zucchini. I made some peanut butter cookies with hershey kisses for a friend and kept a couple for our dessert.

I hope you get to rest tonight Patti and get some energy again. My early supper was a broiled hot dog, macaroni salad and a corn muffin. We are expecting bad weather tonight and tomorrow, very high winds and storms maybe. I have filled the tub with cold water so we can use it to flush if need be.

Nice and warm again today. It's probably the last before it turns cold again. (11C= 52F). Hung the laundry outside and hubby and I bought the curtain rod that I needed so we can hang some drapes.
The apartment is outfitted with vertical blinds and I bought some burgundy panels that were on clearance, as I like the softness of curtains. We had to buy a 144" rod so we put that up today. Looks real nice and homey. I'll post a pic tomorrow or so.

Made bran muffins today as well. Dinner was chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and a salad. The chicken breast was huge, and we pigged out. Man it was good.

Well we were in the neighborhood so we are back at Buffalo wild wings and I just ordered my favorite mushrooms!

Ended up with Tacos...not something my husband eats..and with him not home tonight..Kamren said please. :)

Dessert was vanilla ice cream with either or both..homemade caramel or chocolate sauce..I went with both plus toasted pecans. ;)

Bike ride is in my future..kinda been avoiding it all but one day this week....naughty me!
