I cannot imagine paying that for an evenings entertainment. I saw her years ago too, she is beyond excellent. I have never regretted the money. At the time we were celebrating our anniversary. It cost of $70 for the two tickets. We were in the nose bleed section, I was VERY pregnant and it was tricky climbing the steep steps. Well worth it!! My son is 22. Concert ticket prices are out of wack IMHO!! Today I would wait for the PBS concert special and enjoy her from my recliner.

If you can afford it do it, it's a once in a lifetime event, and it will make you happy. Those things are worth a little extra.

Yes, you should go. Get the tix before they sell out. She'll be fantastic! If the money hurts, skimp somewhere else.

I'm not a Cher fan, but I'd pay that to see an artist I really wanted to see, especially if it was a really rare opportunity.

You guys are gonna think I'm so cheap--and maybe I am, but it's a blessing at this point in my life. Last year a friend took me to a Willie Nelson concert for my birthday. When we got there and I found out the tickets cost $187 apiece, it practically ruined the evening for me--although of course I didn't let on.

You could say maybe I don't like Willie Nelson enough. That's true, but when I think of performers I like more, no performance is worth $187 to me.

However, we all have our own priorities about how we spend money, and if you think it could be worth it to you to spend close to $300 on the concert, it probably will be.

I'd never spend $300 for a night's entertainment. But then, I wouldn't spend that much on a pair of shoes, or a purse or sheets or any number of things.

But, if it is within your means, go for it I guess....I just couldn't imagine doing it myself.

I love Cher, and think that $127 is worth it. That is the going rate, for sure of top entertainers.

A friend of ours saw Bon Jovi this weekend and he paid $180.

I wouldn't pay $127. to go see Cher because I really don't care for her music that much. I like James Taylor and several years ago he was about 1 1/2 hours away but the tickets were $75. and at that time it was a lot of money for us. If he came around today I would give maybe $100 to $125. and go see him.

I would go in a heartbeat!!!! She is an icon!! Not that I am a big fan, I would still go. Yes ticket prices are out of whack, but make it a joint Christmas present. A couple of years ago Jeff Dunham( the ventriloquist) came to Jacksonville and we talked about it as a family (we all LOVE him) & decided that it would be a family Christmas present even though he wasn't coming until the end of January, so everyone got a ticket in their stocking, which I took back for safe keeping and we all had a blast & laughed til we cried. It was a good Christmas present.

I have hinted & hinted that I would love to go see ALABAMA in concert, but doubt I get to go because it is the weekend before Thanksgiving & we are going to Brunswick, GA to spend Tday with Sam. Which is more important to me..

Used to like her. Her ridiculous tweets and politics turned me off completely. I wouldn't walk across the street to see her in person, and won't watch her on tv.

We saw her years ago at the Hollywood Bowl~~she was fabulous~~I am sure the tics were cheaper, but I would pay 127 too see her again! She so amazed me at her costume change for every song. You have to love the artist to pay $$$, if you do not then I would not do it.
