We had 3 Solatubes in our last house. We had them installed to brighten a dark living room and a windowless hall bathroom. I LOVED them. Absolutely loved them. The one in the bathroom had a light inside it so there wasn't too much stuff on the bathroom ceiling. The funniest thing was that everyone visiting would always try to turn out the light, not remembering that they hadn't turned it on and not realizing it was a skylight. Absolutely no regrets. Do expect to have to touch up the ceiling, they poked some small holes looking for where the beams were to cut the holes for them.

I have gone back and forth, up and down, in and out on detergent dosing. I've used the detergent manufacturer's recommendation, the washer manufacturer's recommendation, what I've read on here and various amounts through experimentation. Here is what works for me, and me alone: 1.5 TBSP for a full 4 cuft load, 1.0 TBSP if smaller load, and 2 TBSP for a full 4 cuft highly soiled load. I have a whole house water softener, so my detergent needs are greatly reduced. My hardness is essentially zero. Using the above doses, my clothes come out clean and don't require fabric softener. My machine manufacturer (Miele) says, in the manual, to follow the detergent package recommendations. Following the recommendations on the detergent package results in over sudsing. I let the softness of the laundry as it comes out of the dryer be my guide. If it ever comes out feeling even a little stiff or scratchy, I've used too much. This works for me, others may find they need more or less.

I got 6 right. For someone who doesn't eat turkey and has never cooked one, I thought that was pretty good. I even got the one right about the best way to defrost the turkey.

I got 9 right, but I think the defrost answer is wrong! I heard it on the radio from a turkey commercial to defrost in the fridge!

Only got 10. I swear I read someplace that Arkansas raised the mosted turkeys. (Therefore, I missed both those questions.)

One thing I do know--I haven't seen any on sale in any of the supermarket ads around here. Hummph!!
