Do you listen to Pandora Radio? I love that I can choose any kind of music, any time, and then...change it when the mood strikes. I have everything from Helter Skelter to Les Miserables on my stations.

What kind of music do you like to listen to?

I discovered Pandora years ago. The best way to listen to music as far as I am concerned. My most played stations are rock and country.

I started on Pandora when it started. I know a few of the people that worked on the project. I have the app on my phone too and my tablets.

Florence I am thrilled that the epidural gave you some relief. You mean alot to me. I do feel somewhat better now. I can walk around, but you know how it is. I want to dig the 100 holes for the ramblers and all that sort of thing. Valerie and Aipa thank you so much for your care. Valerie you are right I just want to get right out there to work. You know I have my Rosalia garden party coming up and there is so much to do. It is so very difficult for me to allow anyone to do anything. I promise to be good. My dear well loved Luanne, I agree with you about Puccini and the right times for listening. Please do me a favor and listen to The Nightingale and the Rose. I think it is by Saint Seans(spelling might be wrong). If you know the story by Oscar Wilde, this is the most incredible moving piece of music, but you must be prepared to be moved to extreme emotion. Love to all. I WILL be better soon.

... Get ANY home stereo receiver. Every single real receiver in the world has a whole bunch of RCA jacks on the back for audio inputs, and sometimes video also. And your computer. It's got a 1/8" stereo jack labeled "SPEAKERS" or "LINE OUT". So you go to Radio Shack and you buy a cable that's got a 1/8" stereo plug on one end and two RCA plugs on the other. You attach one end to your computer, and the other end to your stereo, select the appropriate input on your stereo, and start your music streaming on the computer. Voila, internet radio on your regular speakers. You can play your computer audio through just about anything. Our neighbors hate us:

Oh man...music promos. My brother had the good fortune as a teenager to babysit for a rock station DJ. Instead of paying him cash, he got to chose albums, promo materials, tickets, etc. My brother got a limited edition Police EP, shaped like a policemans badge, in a faux leather cover, of Roxanne. SIGNED BY THE BAND. They were JUST coming out in the US, and this was one of the first promo items given to the stations. He also had an album of the Ramones, PERSONALLY signed to him from Joey Ramone. My brothers name is Joe, and was known as Joey at the time. Also at the time my brother wasn't into punk, he liked Frampton, but I loved the Ramones. He gave me the album, but after one of our frequent fights, he took it back and kept it in his room. I can't remember all the great stuff we had...just remember that OUR MOTHER THREW IT ALL OUT WHEN THEY MOVED. Oh, I DID download the Pandora app on my iPhone and have been listening to it all day! YAY! I have two very diverse stations...Louis Prima and Def Leppard. Will have to check out The Willing!

I have both the B&W Nook and the Color Nook. I gave my B&W one to a friend to use, but I do miss it when reading at the beach. Other than that, I don't miss it at all. I love my color Nook. I love that I don't need a reading light and don't find it makes my eyes tired. I love getting my email on my nook and I love checking out library books. I only buy books occasionally. I love being able to lie on my side and I can just prop my Nook up on a pillow. I like that I can take 10 books with me on vacation and they all fit right in my purse! :-) I have to admit that I was a real anti e-reader person. My DH bought my first one as a birthday gift because he couldn't think of anything else to get me. I reluctantly agreed to try it out but had every intention of returning it. I loved my paper books - the feel of them, smell etc. Now, I cannot fathom reading on anything but my Nook. LOVE IT!!

I have my own music on my PC, MP3 CDs played on a Bose radio and use my Ipod on a Memorex docking radio. I love being able to shuffle through 1,000 songs or playing my choice of artists. I also made an MP3 CD of my very favorite songs.

BTW, the Memorex radio sounds just as good as the Bose Radio.

Not Pandora radio, but I do have many music channels on my cable box. I mostly listen to classic country. At night I turn it on real softly, set the remote to sleep timer and go to sleep listening to my music.

Nice, Dot!

I don't listen to Pandora much, but when I do I prefer instrumentals to singing.

Our design team at work all use iTunes to stay sane during our long hours at the office. Each of us download onto our Macs any songs we want and can listen to anyone elses within our group. I have just shy of 5,000 songs in my account. A fellow coworker has nearly 20,000.

After a few years of listening to all of my songs and those of others in our group, I've gotten bored so I've been listening to Pandora most days. It allows me to find new artists and old and new songs to buy and add to my collection.

I can also listen to my Pandora account via Roku, my internet streaming box.

I actually like theradio.com which is similar to Pandora. I usually listen to current pop and rock. Once in a while I will listen to 60's or 70's pop and rock, sometimes country.

I am listening to Van Morison on my PC singing Bright Side of the Road. Very nice.
