Oh yeah! BUT...my doggies love it better..especially Abby! She can hear it "click" and perks up ready to chase it!

My sister's Min Pin is insanely in love with a laser light! OMG she WILL NOT quit! Pants and pants and chases and you finally have to stop! Then she bothers you for a long time after to do it more! She knows it as "the bug". You ask her where is the bug and she starts searching and going bananas, then runs to the computer desk, its kept on the top shelf there!

My Beloved plays with the animals using the laser light and they are such fun to watch.

I remember trying one on Foxy, my cat. She just looked at the dot, calmly followed it up to the pen and walked away. She ignored it completely after that.

I can see that laser lights should stay out of children's hands.

I bought one for Buster at the dollar store. At first he ran after it, but now he is still interested in it, and seems to know when I am reaching for it, but he just sits and watches it.

I have one I never opened. I'll have to look for it and try it!

Oh my dog Missy goes crazy over it. Like CB's dog all she has to do is hear the 'click' and she's up looking for it.
One of my cats will stretch out and reach for it, maybe spin around to find it, but that's it.
We have loads of fun with it. I shouldn't say 'we' I mean DH and DS do. Hard to say who the 'youngest' in the house is sometimes. LOL Silly boys.

Do NOT play with laser pens outside especialy at night.
Those beams travel until they hit an obstruction...and there have been more than a few complaints from pilots of beams shining into their cabins, and disturbing vision, especially low flying planes like helicopters and private planes.

They probably would, but I'm always worried about eye safety and have never used one with them.

But a ping pong ball in the bathtub, that's some kind of fun. :)

My five cats love it. We got one before they were sold as cat toys. It's on a key chain and they go nuts if we reach for it. Then we showed the dogs and they love it too. Would play till they dropped. I watch never to shine in their eyes.

My daughter bought a laser light for our old cat Whisper, who passed last June 2009 when she had multiple prgan failure at age 17. The cat loved it, and "understood" how to play with it right away. She also liked catmip.

Both of my cats ignore lazer pointers. Any thing with a string is their favorite. Forget about the toy part, they only want the string.

Apparently a handful of idiots in the Seattle area think it's funny to try to bring down planes with them:

SEATTLE (AP) - Officials say a laser was pointed at a jetliner bound for SeaTac Airport Sunday night. Corporate media officer Charla Skaggs says the incident occurred around 9 p.m. but the plane landed a short while later without incident. She says the Port of Seattle is investigating.

No further information was released, including the airline involved or what area the laser seemed to be coming from.
