I found it to be a huge time-waster for me personally, although I know many people for whom it just works. I was just talking to a friend last night who said she enjoys being able to keep up with her kids via Facebook, and I can totally understand that. I also enjoyed reconnecting with some folks from the past, but I can honestly say that out of the 249 friends I had "amassed", I really only cared to keep in touch with a handful of them with any regularity. I let those few know I was "leaving the pack", but made sure we exchanged email addresses so we can stay in touch. I doubt the rest even realize I'm not on Facebook anymore. Totally agree with you about not caring where everyone is, every moment of the day. Mary Smith just 'dropped the kids off at the pool'. (OK, so I don't know anybody who actually posted that, but some folks did come pretty darn close. Way, way, way TMI.) ;-)

I laughed outloud too! During the video I was wondering if Daisy would wait while Cooper had the ice cream first, but now I see why that wouldn't work. I'm sure that ice cream and sugar isn't good for dogs, but we used to get a soft serve for our dog too.

Makes you wonder if it was trained to do some of the behaviors? I keep dog treat and food in a lower large drawer in the kitchen. I always joke that it would be so easy for my shep mix to just put a paw on the pull and open the drawer ... I'm not going to teach that behavior! We did teach our small terrier mix to "touch" with her paw. She now uses that to scratch at the back door if we accidentally closed it while she was out.
