I use a little round bowl with blue designs on it.

I use a scrubbie holder shaped like a dog's head. He holds the scrubbie in his mouth.

Hey, didn't you serve me olives and pickles from a antique glass relish tray (oval shaped, ribbed glass and divided into 3) when I was at your place last year??! lol

I don't use a sponge... so no holder for me!

I don't use a sponge either, but I do have on under my sink in a plastic glass.

I meant to say also, before hitting submit to quickly, that I wet that sponge, and wipe cat hair off the furniture.

I don't use a sponge or a scrubbie so I don't have a holder. No offense but it would really gross me out to see a sponge or scrubbie on my kitchen counter, or even a dishcloth. I keep cloths under the sink on a hook so they dry out between uses. I hate it when my sister visits and drapes te wet cloth over the sink or faucet.

The only scrubbie I have is a " Chubby Scrubbie ". I don't use a sponge in the kitchen. I have a small wire shelf under the sink to keep the scrubbie in.

I have an old cast iron water pump (painted red) sitting at the side of my sink....(I've always wished I could have water run through it...)I sit my sponges in the spout of the pump.

We have a double stainless steel sink with a bottom basin rack on one side. I let my sponge sit there until dry, then I store it on a tilt-out on the front of my sink cabinet. We don't eat a lot of meals at home so scrubbing the sink is not an everyday occurrence. A quick wipe with Dawn detergent and a micro-cloth are generally enough for daily use.

I have an over-the-sink drain rack where the sponge sits. I saturate it and nuke it once a day and stand it up vertically so it dries.

I have a green ceramic frog with a big mouth to hold whatever.... sometimes a scrubby and sometimes one of those stainless thingys from Fuller. My niece made it for me in a class and it has her name on the bottom.

I'm afraid of sponges too.

I also don't use sponges,but i keep my scrubbies in a ceramic cow.

I just have mine in a plastic soap dish over the kitchen sink. I always add bleach to the dish water, so it's bleached at every use.

I don't use sponges. Rosebudms, I made one of those frogs in high school ceramics class. My mom kept it on a shelf. I remember it accidentally getting knocked off and broken by someone the day my my nephew was killed in 1975. What a strange thing to remember.lol

Got home late from the office one evening last month, and DH surprised me with something that looks like this (except I have one sink)!

No icky sponges and scouring pads on the counter or in the sink!

I have those tilt out things, too, but I don't think things dry out under the sink as well as they do with fresh air circulating around them. I keep extra sponges and scubbies in mine. I bleach my sponges too, and occasionally I'll zap one in the microwave to kill any germs if it's pretty fresh, but they're so cheap I usually just grab a fresh one if there's any doubt and toss the old one.

I use a ceramic soap dish that I picked up at a yard sale years ago for $0.50, or so. The ridges at the bottom of the dish help the sponge air dry.

I don't use sponges either.

I have a wire dish drainer on one side of the sink and rinse it well and let it air dry in the drainer. I've been using sponges for many years and ain't killed anybody yet. I either stick it in the dishwasher or microwave it for a minute or two. Only do that when I think about it, though. I like the sponges with the green scrubbie thing on one side.

I use a stainless steel aerating basket, attached to the front inside of the sink by suction cups.

I use a dishrag and no sponges.
But I do have a old cream colored with green trim tin drinking cup on the corner of my sink that holds a Flameys Mom scrubbie and one of those flat plastic pot scrapers from Pampered Chef.

I have one of Chubbyrat's scrubbies in Alex's old Tazmanian Devil mug and my sponge (which gets run through the dishwasher every so often) in a porcelin shell-shaped soap dish with little blue flowers on it. I bought the soap dish from my old neighbor when we had a yard sale together.

I put my sponge on this small plastic cottage cheese container.
