This zinnia is as close as I can come. I took it yesterday . . . the sunflowers aren't looking very photogenic these days.

Ooh! Ooh! I can do sunflowers!

I took these out of the car window on the way to work on September 9 (hubs was driving - we carpool). All I can say is someone spent one heck of a lot of time planting all those seeds so they'd face in the same direction. Every flower looks to the East. ;-)

lol Lindsey - sunflowers face the sun whichever way it is... I love planting sunflowers for the grandkids for that reason... Plus - it can fit on your finger and usually grows to 8' - 10'...
