I am thinking of starting a blog and was wondering if anyone of you have one and how you went about starting it. Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks

What color does that peony flower? VERY interesting leaves! You should start by making a trade page, listing anything you have to trade and anything you're looking for. You can update this as you go. If you're into growing from seeds, there are usually lots of folks with seeds for postage to newbies. You'll also see things posted here on the Plant Exchange as for postage, from time to time. You also need to enable your e-mail, so that potential traders can communicate easily with you.

Seeds are usually sown relative to the last frost date. 6-8 weeks before last frost is a good time for most annual flowers, later for really fast ones like Marigolds, earlier for slow stuff like Impatiens. You can sow earlier if you have the space to grow them on in fairly large pots. Here is a link that might be useful: First and last frost in Indiana towns

Here's what I did: I emailed it to everyone; I posted it on my FB page; then I posted it on a few forums where I have been members for years. I also have started commenting on others' because I also think it's hard to find blogs I'm interested in. You would think they would have a huge directory or something. Maybe I'll start a new post here where we can all post our blogs!

Writersblock- When I look at my blog it shows all the pages at the top, but when I went into my mom's account it shows a menu at the top. If you click on that, all the pages will be displayed, including the book page. I am trying to figure out if I can change that...so I'll let you know after I talk to Wordpress. I thought I wanted to start a blog. I went to blogspot and found it very confusing, Instruction were not clear and were all over the place, not in a 1.2.3 format.

In the past I have made two web sites that were much easier to do than a blog.

But several KTers have blogs, so it just must be me!

You can find the blogs listed at Joann's KT site.

Good luck.

Blogspot is easy; so is Wordpress. I knew nothing about blogging when I started mine, so I think it's safe to advise you to just pick a blogging site and follow the directions. :-)

It helps to have a couple of titles for your blog in mind before you start, though, in case the one you want is already taken.

What will your blog be about, or doesn't it have a theme? (Either way is okay.)
