Getting all official over here~~

Got a letter from my insurance company, that my medicare has been approved and I now am inrolled in their Medicare Advantage program. WHEW! I feel better now, it has all come together and makes more sense to me.

Now maybe I will go out and buy myself those diamond earrings, I have been looking at for gift to myself. Just not sure if that seems over the top?? They are cute and on clearance?

Hello! I hang in houseplants sometimes too, alot to learn over there! I think hoyas are pretty easy by comparison! Do you mean vines when you say strings? If so, sure you can cut them off, but you do take the risk of losing a vine that would potentially put out peduncles/buds. I usually just leave them be, I like the way they look, they add to the charactor of the plant...or u could wrap them around so they are no so obvious or in the way. If you don't like the bare look of the vines, keep in mind they usually do get leaves... eventually. As for repotting, hoyas can stay for years and years in small pots, and this is actually recommended for them. As they get more potbound you may have to water more or ocassionally top dress with some fresh soil, but the general rule is, the smaller the pot the better!

We had 5 inches of snow this week. No more (in ground) gardening for me. I just need to mulch my rose bushes now that the ground has frozen. In a few more weeks, I'll begin wintersowing in milk jugs. Once I get all set for Yule/Christmas, I can start reviewing what seeds I need and can swap, and making some plans for next year. I already know what practices I'll try to improve on next year. In January, I'll send some soil for testing (only $10 in Jan!) What is anyone else up to?

NE1 get freaked out by their all over paint color?

Ugh, I haven't seen the color in the light yet, but I'm having the first real freak out of the build. I hope, Marthaelena, I'm not kicking myself for not going the believeable buff route. I thought of going Ivoire like many had suggested, but for some reason it read too tan. We are in a rental right now that has tan walls, and I don't like them at all. They just seem really drab. So, we were really trying to get away from tan. We were basically going for creamy with undertones of yellow. We had that in our last house, unfortunately, I didn't have the name of the paint and we don't live there anymore. I used that paint so often to do touch ups around the house, that I thought I had the color burned into my memory, but may be I was off in my recollection. Oh, and here I thought you were so excited to see me that you just had to post two more times! LOL

The best days for me next week are Tuesday or Wednesday. Job interview on Monday and leaving town on Friday to celebrate our 40th anniversary with members of our wedding party in Northern California.

I will have lunch with you, go into Anaheim see my mom~~then I am going to go to DisneyLand for the late afternoon into the evening~~YES~~that is the plan. Just hoping it is cooler by then;)
