The webmasters are the ones who remove posts, not posters. Suppose you could say something that the crybabies don't like and they'll run to the webmasters to get it removed! LOL

Marcy, the reason you couldn't find that thread is because it was removed! I was the OP, asking why my (benign) posts had been removed, and I said that I hadn't asked for them to be nor was there any reason for them to be - they'd gone "poof"! You asked how to request it. Well, next thing we knew, THAT thread was gone!

So - that answers that mystery. I still don't know if there's any way to ask for your own to be removed.

Suzieque....I wondered what happen that day, I was going to respond to your post, but it disappeared and I was beginning to wonder if I had ever "really" read it !

Would someone tell me what OP means? I had emailed the Power-that-be, and asked respectfully, why a certain post had been eliminated. I never heard from them. It seems sort of creepy that there are invisible beings, who can take away our conversations.

There was a post on Saturday that was removed. I think that is the one Marcy and Suzieque are talking about? It asked why certain posts are removed...(I think it might have had some information on it the powers that be thought might fan some flames and they removed it or someone asked that it be removed).and Marcy asked how to go about having her posts removed then. I am sure CB answered that question...at least I think she did. If you scroll way down to the bottom of this page in the green where it says "contact us" you can click on it and request. That said I *think* they are selective on what they will remove. I requested one of mine be removed along time ago after I posted a pic and in that pic was an envelope that had my name and adress on it! LOLSmart wasn't I? I didn't know my camera was that good that it picked up what was written on the envelope! LOL
I am pretty sure the powers that be never say why or why not posts are removed. Its their choice I guess or complaints? Or both maybe?

I have written to Tamara and asked her to remove one of my posts, I think it was last year. Took about two hours and it was gone.

I just made a bad judgment call, and needed the post removed.

Yes Tamara will remove them. but I don't remember how to get ahold of her...but I think you have to have a reason to have it removed.

I was just wondering where Tamara is. Haven't seen a post from her in a very long while. Course, I'm often gone for a week at a time. Maybe a newbie on duty?

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to why threads disappear. It's very odd to have read a post then go back to it and it's disappeared into thin air. Maybe it'll keep happening enough that I won't start scratching my head before I figure it out! :)

Marcy, a suggestion. Do a search on the KT main page, using gwtamara 'entire site'. When you find a post that she's posted on, click on her My Page. From there it will have a place to click to send her an email.

Probably, Marcy. A lot have disappeared. And if they were on this forum, it moves so fast that older pages are dropped all the time as new ones come up.
