We went from heat and drought to warnings about flash floods in the hills where we live (none happened), and I'm loving not having to water for a couple of days. Diane

it poured here in west ccc (hercules). this weather has been totally weired though. sunday and monday it was in the 80's, yesterday it poured, and it was a cold rain,windy and blustery like winter, with a high of 52 - i came so close to starting a fire or turning the heat on!! then today it started out the same, cold and blustery with light drizzle. and by 3:30 the sun was out and it was 72. i'm interested to see if this will effect my veggies...?

We also have had good rain, Kathy. It rained Saturday, Saturday night, all day Sunday, and is raining now at 10:00pm Sunday night! WE are happy! I, too, have had a few harsh words with my dog. She looks at the rain, looks at me and goes and lays down again. She will come back in a few minutes for me to open the door so she can look out again, but she doesn't want to go out. It is wet out there! And she is scared of thunder.....I finally made her go out, but I went out with her. The rain rolls off her. I get soaked. Janie

We have water today all day finally! All us folks up here on the hill hollered and screamed and stomped our feet enough to rock the boat and made the water company folks get out and do their job. They went house to house and place to place looking at ground and in basements. They found 7 leaks mostly in folks basements and made enough repairs to keep pressure up high enough to reach our end. Of course the rain helped too. They have wells but don't have the equipment to filter it properly so epa or someone told them they were not allowed to use them until proper filtration was installed to removes excess iron and such so spring water is what we have.
