didn't watch and don't care for kutcher, anyway...it's a shame they didn't let jon do the cast search...he might have found someone who would mesh better...

Susan, Kutcher is a "billionaire" who's wife left him. He ended up on Jon's balcony cause he tried to drown himself, but the water was too cold.

He and Jon hung out for a nite, and he's going to buy Charlie's house. So I don't know where that leaves Alan and the kid....

I'm not a fan of the show, my EX loved it though and loved Charlie Sheen I think because he was his clone...HEEHEE!!!! Of course he's heart broken to see Charlie leave and hates Ashton.

I'm not a fan of the show, but have seen Kutcher in other things, His looks don't appeal to me.

I'm in a love/hate with this show. I think the family relationships are funny but the massive sex is over the top for me. I watched the show because I do like Ashton. At first I thought he was going to play a totally stupid guy but by the end of the show, I thought this is going to be pretty good. He's a good hearted, nieve billionaire, getting a touch of Charlies life in Charlies home. It's funny how he runs around naked and doesn't think a thing of it.

I just posted in the other thread. I liked Kutcher in Dude, Where's My Car but this is going to be hard-pressed to survive if they have to convert the base fans of this show. Very poorly written, not really funny. The funniest cast members were pretty much cast aside. It has a long way to go. But then again, look at some of the other shows that are on too. Maybe it will survive.

AFAIC, they should have given the part to Rob Lowe. He's as hated by about the same crowd who hates Charlie Sheen. His reputation is about the same. He could have even replaced the character or blended in far better than Ashton Kutcher.

Given the controversies started before it was even on the air with the others complaining about the treatment of Kutcher, it could be a limited life show, although I doubt Lorre would pack it up without a fight. Charlie Sheen would get too much satisfaction out of it! LOL

Only watched part of one episode of that series and had to change channels found it to be very disgusting and full of innuendos and out and out sex garbage. Sorry JMHO

I have to say cynic that Rob Lowe is absolutely nothing like Charlie Sheen at all. Anyone that thinks he is has never seen Rob Lowe on an interview...he is about as opposite as they get. I think he was much like Charlie in his younger days but he grew up and Charlie didn't.

I agree with Arkansas Girl. In his youth, he was probably as wild as they get, but when he was on Brother and Sisters.....wow, I just adore him as an actor. (That's a show that I wish didn't get cancelled.)

I haven't watched it for a couple of years, tho I really used to enjoy it. The last couple of years it seemed to only be about sex and I didn't find it as funny as it once was. I loved Berta, Rose and mom as well, Berta's comments usually had me rolling!

I am not an Ashton fan, I can't think of anything I've seen that I liked. He sort of gives me the creeps.

I haven't watched it in a few years but it used to be a favorite until it seemed to be filled with sex....I also loved Berta, rose and of course the mom.....
I didn't watch it last night so I have no opinion.....
