Hey, I finally went somewhere--a hamfest! Hamfests are gatherings for ham radio operators, usually featuring a flea market offering radio and computer supplies, among other things. Yesterday we arrived at the hamfest at 6:30 a.m. and tailgated opposite this seller:

I see a few around here. VE3XN for example.

Funny you should ask, Jasdip. My son is the ham radio operator, and while we were at the hamfest yesterday I saw an official amateur radio license plate and was reminded that I wanted to check out how to obtain a similar plate for him, maybe for his birthday next month. So I asked one of the guys, and he said AAA can do it for me. So I'll call them tomorrow.

Over the years I've bought him clothing with his call sign on it, and I think a license plate would be fun.

Here a lot of the ham people have the license plates with the call signs :)
