The yummiest french toast ever!!!!

I made these this morning and they are so good. The recipe comes from Paula Deen!

Bananas Foster French Toast

4 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream

1 tsp cinnamon

8 tbsp butter, divided

8 large croissants, halved

1/2 cup dark corn syrup

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1 cup maple syrup

1 cup chopped pecans

6 bananas, halved crosswise and lengthwise

1 tsp rum extract

In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, cream, cinnamon. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over med/high heat. Dip croissant halves into egg mixture to coat both sides. Using a fork, remove croissants from mixture, letting excess mixture drip off. Place in hot skillet and cook 2-3 minutes per side or until lightly browned. Repeat procedure to cook all croissants with remaining butter. Set aside and keep warm.

In a large skillet, combine corn syrup, brown sugar, maple syrup and pecans. Bring to a boil over med/high heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Add bananas and rum extract. Coat with syrup and simmer 1 minuted. Spoon over french toast, serve immediately.

YUUUUUUUMMY!!!!!!!!!!

I left out the pecans and it was still equally yummy. Beware, this dish is very sweet!
