A number of locations had some large hail last evening, but thankfully, none here. There were also a some heavy rain around. a mile north, ½ mi.east and south of me. I got just enough to turn the dust in my rain gauge to mud! Guess the Rain Birds will be running again. Hope all of you had rain and minimal damage. Rb

Thursday and Friday were pretty good days for rain here. With the little that fell just after midnight today my three day total is 1.03". This is the first time since April 15 a storm has produced more than 0.60". Year to date rain total is still 11.59" below where it should be. The heat continues. Today's high of 92° was the 16th of 90° or warmer for the month. That total is one more than the previous 6 Junes combined!

The same system that's over you barely got the ground wet here. It was like, it gave everyone around us rain, but decided to only tease us with a light shower. I just finished up watering a few beds, my hands were too cold to water any more. First we're underwater in March, and now we barely get anything because that we need it. Karen

That is a lot of rain. I've never experienced that in my garden. We are usually on the other side of that, with not enough rain. Here in the Northeast, we've been watching the news about the middle of the country, I don't know how you stand it. You've had horrible weather the past few months. And all that rain. We have gotten more than usual, but not to that degree. It seems to dissipate somewhat before it reaches us. I'm wondering if you are going to dry out any time soon. I thought you also expect dry weather in the summer, usually. So, I have no suggestions other than, if you have potted plants waiting to go in the ground, maybe you can pull them in the house and put them in a window when it's raining. If there is a particular bed that is soaked, maybe you can put a tarp or plastic over it when it rains and weigh it down with bricks to keep it a little dryer until it stops raining. That's all I can think of. You have my sympathies! I hope you get some dry sunny weather soon!
