That's so wierd. I'm in LA too and a couple of my plants did the exact same thing this week. Sudden wilt and drying on lower leaves, some browning edges of other leaves, and a few of the leaf branches looked like they were breaking at the base. I don't think it's LB, but I'm no expert. I had just fertilized the day before with a granular (4-5-3 EB Stone Organics) fertilizer, and though maybe I had given them too much and burned the leaves. Hoping to hear some other folks weigh in. Does it have to be a dress? How about nice black slacks, heels and a dressy top? Or a jacket and coordinated blouse. Cute earrings, cute bag and you're set. Do you have a Nordstroms? Was recently looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and saw some really cute things in the women's section. I don't wear women's so nothing worked for me, but I ended up with a print skirt, sleeveles beaded linen top and matching cardigan sweater which I got at Macy's. It was Jones New York, so nice fit and quality. I hear you about the dresses. I'm a size 12 pear, and every one I tried on was horrible. Too big on top, too small on the bottom, too low, big arm holes. I feel your pain. Good luck, and let us know what you do. (Oh and congrats on the weight loss. Keep going.)

Thanks for the follow ups, really good information. I'll try to address each comment and ask some more questions. fluffybunnysui: The 1st contractor called me last night to ask about what I was thinking about doing to fix it. I told them I had a 2nd contractor come out and test it and told me the expansion valve. 1st contractor said that they determined it WAS NOT the expansion valve because they blocked off one side of the flow at/on the compressor, and the bypass valves opened and it couldn't suck the pressure all the way down.(I don't really understand how it works, I have replaced Automobile A/C but just followed basic instructions.) 2nd part: Both contractors said that they *think* the evap coil is icing up. Because we could turn the unit off for hours, let it melt, and then it would blow really cold again for a short time. Unfortunely for me, I had to leave the house today and go to work in a different city for the week. I can't spray the unit off, and my wife doesn't feel confident doing it, but the 1st contractor is due out to the house later today. thanks. Jack Mason: thanks, the 2nd contractor did show me their pricing on new units. Said $2,899 for a new evap coil and all related work. $4,600 for a 12 SEER outside unit. (my system is a 14 SEER I believe). Reading the link you provided now. thanks. Heatseeker: I don't know what refrigerant is used in my system. A quick web search points to R-410A. The unit is a Carrier unit, Model: 24ABA430A300 Serial # 4506E08945

Gwentm - thanks so much! We put several of the pocket doors with glass inserts throughout the house during the remodel/addition, and they were all from Lemieux. We compared doors from several companies and felt that they had the most competitive prices of all we looked at. We're happy with the doors, although not the installation! Our contractor installed them incorrectly, so now we have scratches in about 3 places on every door where they rub sliding into the wall, so will have to be re-installed and repainted - argghhhh! But then I shouldn't be surprised, since the quality of his work took a nosedive toward the end, that is, when he even bothered to show up! :) Good luck - hope you find the door you are looking for! Jenni is so lucky to be getting a little granddaughter. Nothing wrong with grandsons, I have three and love them all so much, but would love to have a granddaughter to go with those three boys!

It took forever for your post to load, and then when you didn't tell us right away....ooooohhhh!!!

Congratulations on PINK!!! I had to have 2 boys before I had my girl. I love my boys dearly, but I also wanted to experience having a daughter. She's now a teenager and can drive me crazy, but we won't go there.

I am excited for you!

Congratulations!A girl!
I love my boys, and my family would be perfect if I'd only had them. However, I am very grateful to have the chance to raise a daughter, too. I am close to my mother, and was close to my grandmother, so having a daughter to continue that circle is more special to me than words can say.

So I'm thinking of you, your mom and your daughter/granddaughter to be. That is going to be such a special bond for the three of you and I am so happy that you will get to experience that, all of you. Steph and Jenni, what a treat for you both.

I'm also just happy that all is well, so far so good, and wishing a continued healthy pregnancy for you!

Thank you so much everyone!! We would've been happy with either, and I know Grant would have really loved a partner in crime (err, I mean brother, LOL) but we are happy to have a girl. I've always wanted a little girl and a little boy so this is perfect.

As far as names, the front contender at this point is Cameryn Paige. It's what Grant would've been had he have been a girl. We're exploring others but haven't came up with any that we really love. Well, that Brent really loves. I have a few I do. I really like the name Ava but I hate that it's so popular so I wont use it.

We like different names that aren't incredibly popular but also not super crazy either. I like gender neutral names for a girl too, obviously, since I like Cameryn.
