Question about the Daily Trivia.

I did really good on today's trivia, just missed 1 answer.

(I should have stuck with my gut instinct.....I corrected it, and that was the one I got wrong).

I had started the quiz then had a friend come to the door.

I closed the site and re-opened it and when I finished it, it took me 2642 seconds to complete it! lol

I'm at the bottom because of the time. Is the score based on time, or correct answers? I was in the top yesterday because I had 10 right, but also a good time, I guess.

Oh, this is the trivia game that Casey hosts, not the one I post daily....

Once you start, you have to keep going. Your score is based on both time and correct questions. (I did that once.)

I love it, too. But I swear I played yesterday and it isn't showing that I did. I hardly ever miss a day even though I feel like a dodo sometimes. I don't have pop-ups while I'm playing either. But sometimes my computer decides to slow down and it says it took me a lot longer to finish than I think it did. For a long time, I didn't realize you could go to "Standings" and see how you did for the day before or where you stand for the month. After I found that, it made it even more fun.

I've been posting this thread for over 2 years. That's over 700 recipes. As much as I'd like to have tried them all............there's no way. DH doesn't like half the stuff I do, so alot of them are recipes I'd love to try but can't. I usually mention the ones I do cook. For example, today I cooked the Shredded Brussel Sprouts again, but this time, used pistachios, instead of pine nuts. Not nearly as successful. But there you go. Sometimes they sound alot better in print than in reality. However, I'll still post recipes that I think are worth a try. Hope you don't mind.

I have a macbook pro, (which is really way too much computer for me and I don't know how to use it effectively, but that's another issue) and it doesn't have a mouse. So when the screen comes up only the first question fits on the screen. So I have to move the cursor over to the pull-down bar to get the next few questions up. So all this back and forthing is costing me time. Is there a way to minimize the questions so they are all on one screen?

I got them all right today and am at the bottom too. Found out the hard way you can't drink coffee, talk to the animals and COMPETE. Big miracle if I ever got to the top.
Casey might want to share secrets of winning.

Yes, it is based on both. I think if you are 101 seconds slower than someone else who got 1 less right than you then you fall below them.... so if you got 10 right in 151 seconds, but someone else got 9 right in 50 seconds they would be above you in the score. Hope that made sense.

You have to be both smart (or a lucky guesser lol) and FAST for that game.
