SERVIR FRAIS

{{!gwi}}
Arrived from our own Nookie,Karen from France!

She even included her notes as to chilling before eating, to loosening the duck grease from the jar, to putting on a plate for slicing.

Serve with toast points, chutney, which she prefers figs, and serve with sweet white wine.

She generally serves it at Christmas as an entree" before the main meal.

And ended her note with Bon Appetit!

Cannot wait to have "the occasion" to serve it!

Another great KT'er with special caring gifts!

    I love pate but have never had fois gras before. I hope it's wonderful and the presentation sounds just as much fun as the eating part!

    My best friend is French Canadian.
    We always celebrate birthday lunches!
    Hers is coming up, so I think I'll surprise her and cook and serve the Frois gras with the figs and wine before lunch!

    Emailed Nookie to see if she can send me a simple French lunch menu!

    Nookie, did you get my email?

    Glenda, how nice!!! I have no idea what it tastes like, but I love the way it's spelled. It looks so sophisticated.

    Glenda, I think this calls for a trip for me to see you in your home town. LOL
    I can bring a nice California wine......and some figs.
    What a nice present to someone very deserving.
