OOPS!!! Sorry I didn't know that about Jan. 1 being "everybody's" birthday, if a specific date isn't given. Oh well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is. :>) Mwoods, your statement about each year bringing "joy, laughter, and some tears" is so true. None of us ever knows what's ahead for us. But, as my DH says, "It's been a trip, but I wouldn't change any of it!"

Oh, Wow! I don't know where you got the idea that today was me birthday! I quit having those about 3 years ago, and I don't feel a day older then I did at that time!!! OK, so today I officially became an old person. Yep I'm even on Medicare now and I also belong to Silver Sneakers at the Health Club. Thank you, all of you, for the Birthday wishes. You are all so sweet and I wish I could pass each of you a slice of this beautiful cake that our son and his family brought me. It was Yummy, but I don't need all this! I need your help, please eat it for me! There, I smeared it on my screen, all you need to do is lick your screen! Man, I wish I could check to see if any of you tried it! It should taste as good as all that chocolate we use to share! I am in misery, sitting here growning and holding my overstuffed belly after all the eating we did today -- when will I learn to say NO!

Wow! I finally had time to stop in and check the KT.

LOL Miss Fingernails! Actually I am the same age as Linda -- Now Linda are you sure you want me to tell! LOL

I've been collecting S.S. for a year already. See, there comes an age when you admit how old you are!

We had another busy day today. We finally found a gas grill on clearance in the size we wanted. After running several errands this morning, we went to my favorite Mex Restraunt and stuffed myself on Fahitias.

I'm still waiting for phone calls from the kids. They are all busy during the day.

I have a very dear friend who called and sang Happy Birthday to me over the phone. She has a beautiful voice, and I have never heard her sing alone before. That was a fun surprise!

Thank you all of you for the sweet wishes. I am so blessed with wonderful friends.

This evening we will be planted in front of the TV to watch the Olympics again.

Hugs to all of you!

I'm adding another Happy Birthday to you, Judy.

(Don't ya just love the SS age? I took mine early. I couldn't wait. Still have to work part-time though.)

Thank you everyone!
It was a VERY good day and I'm tired enough to zonk out really good tonight.

I don't know why I'm still up -- Maybe all that sugar I had this evening Yum, Yunk, Yum...

Did you know that Coldstone Creamery has a Birthday Club. You can print off a coupon from their site and get one of their medium size Creations FREE! And you get a whole week to use it in.

I had Coffee Lovers Creation (only instead of carmel sauce I had fudge sauce.) That might be why I'm still bushy-tailed!
