Des arc ya ya, my DGD#2 will be going to

15 years ago

Searcy for college after her Senior year. She is an excellent student and I know it's hard to believe, but I just want her to have the "fun" college experience and she tells me they have chapel every day!!! She loves it there and already has a roommate, from Alabama and a suite mate from Alaska. She's excited. I know nothing about Searcy, but I bet I'll be there. She is my girl, after all!!

Oh, how great! I know the school where she'll be going.

We'll have to get together and "do lunch", or something when you come to visit. Also, I could be a phone call away for her (to reassure Grandma........LOL)

Just know her roomie will be the bestest, being as she's from ALABAMA! :O)

Ellie, I like J.T. Davis, too. In fact, I've been so impressed with it that I ordered some more for Fall delivery. Nancy, J.T. Davis is new this year, so I didn't hybridize with it. But next year, I certainly plan to use it. njmomma, Good luck with TH this year. It is a reliable rebloomer here. Julie, Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the pics. Rita, The zinnias and the black-eyed susans laugh at the summer heat...thank goodness. Otherwise there wouldn't be much color in my garden right now. The daylilies are few and far between. Kay, Between the squirrels, the woodpeckers, the cardinals and the blue jays, there isn't much left for the little birds. But other than than, the suet feeders have worked out well. Kathy

We did have a very good time! Taco soup, chili and all the fixins'. About five kinds of cake, candy, Rice Krispie treats, etc. Kids were all over playing on the computer, playing in the floor, dogs runnin' around everywhere. It was fun! LOL May show a photo later.
