Hi. I see that I am not one of the first six to reply. But if you happen to still have some seed packs still available I would love some - either the flowers, veggies, or both. Thanks for doing this!

No, no, no golddust on GW for a whole week? Well, take pictures for us and have a safe and fun time. Watch out for the bugs and snakes. My "camping" would be at a luxury hotel if I could afford it or won a prize.

Sharon... I really like your star pattern...the colors against the white are perfect. I'm glad the easy angle works for you...I can't figure out any other way to make those HST. Theresa...Congratulations on 60 years! Awesome....you had to be a child bride!!! Donna....I get wanting to veg during the week...but I do go to my sewing room just about every day...if only to fold some wayward fabric in the stash! Sandra....your June goals ....now that's a long list! My goal this month are/were a bust. I started and finished a quilt top for my niece. She picked out the fabric and I started sewing from there...it's just so darn UGLY I can't give it to her with a straight face. Luckily, there is enough fabric remaining to make another lap size quilt (coupled with some fabric from the stash), so my 4th of July weekend will be sewing another top. Learned my lesson...going with a tried and true pattern that I know will work! Happy sewing everyone! V.

Be sure to follow through on all the physically therapy after the knee replacement. Its going to be a bore and some pain when the therapist flexes the joint to increase its range of motion. This part is absolutely necessary if you are to arrive at a fully functioning joint. The first week is the worst where you lay around and for several hours per day with your leg in a machine that slowly flexes the joint. On the plus side, you'll catch up on a number of TV shows. It could be a good time to rent movies or have Netflix. You could read all those books that you might get to someday. That someday has arrived! (My wife has had both knee joints replaced one at a time and 2 years apart.) By the way, my wife knee joints were replaced 10 yrs ago and are trouble free. She has been happy with the results. Today, she rarely thinks about those joints.
