A bunch of us from around the USA took this quiz last Christmas. What we found from our small sample was that people who traveled extensively and people who had lived in multiple geographic areas had diffuse, almost unidentifiable results while those who had spent most of their time in a particular area were identified spot-on.

We discussed, too, how if we spend a lot of time in more than one area, we would tend to use the word, pronunciation or phrasing most common to whichever area we were in physically.

My quiz was dead-right. It said I am from the Midwest, and I am - pretty cool!

They got it right with the Louisiana map but the Wichita one is really strange I have never even been there or lived anywhere near there. The answer that threw it in was my choice of Pop for the carbonated drink.
