Yup, found out today that we'll be having another boy. And is he ever cute! :) I'm 21 weeks now.

The black blobs are his stomach and his heart.

We planted a magnolia tree out here as they were so beautiful there & no dogwoods here so the magnolia was next best thing, well it got burnt looking leaves & they were mostly on the ground, we took it out & next door neighbor got 1 so I get to pick up their leaves as they blow over the fence. It does have the pretty flowers high up & I get to enjoy them. They are about 6-7 in across & mostly white.Don't know what kind they are . Your's don't constantly shed the leaves do they?? Oh yes I remember the beautiful rhododendrons & have seen pics of some park in the South that has lots of them in several colors with lots of lawn. Can't remember where. My azalea just had a few blooms on it-wrong time of yr,they bloom in spring. All my spring bulbs are up too so will flower by xmas I suppose. Never know what to expect out here.Jan

Deer just LOVE Hibiscus (cold hardy or Tropical, makes no difference). Remember, PEOPLE drink Hibiscus tea, the deer will eat the flowers, leaves and bark! Been there, done that.

Lolol..Hello everyone! What a fantastic thread Mike..Hello laura and others.. Beautiful dogs, protectors, and of course plants@! Looking at these is making me think twice.. Let me tell you this...I hatched over ten thousands Praymantis last year and never saw a one by summers end...lol So to see that many , plus frogs, me fave, you guys are sooooo lucky...I love these pics.. First off, I wanted to thank everyone for checking out my blog. I started it hoping that others would enjoy it, and I will definitely incorporate any feedback I receive. (I am working on the pictures...We have a digital camera but for some reason recently the pictures won't download to the computer. Haven't spent the time to figure out the problem. I'd like to post some pictures this week.) Yes, the worms are eating a lot of junk food. Interestingly, writing this blog is making me much more conscious of what I'm eating, since I'm recording what leftovers the worms get. I'm trying to do better...Of course, a lot of this is stuff that I, my wife or the boys DIDN'T eat, or didn't finish. Most of the leftovers are from eating out--we tend to do a lot better with portion control and type of food when we eat in. Excuses, excuses. If I'm not careful I'll have to buy the worms a gym membership. I certainly could use a little exercise going into the new year. The worms absolutely eat the fried stuff. (Well, I don't know if they eat it, but I do know that it breaks down in the bin). I haven't had any problems with any of it when it goes through the food processor. Interestingly, I still have some tator tots that HAVEN'T broken down from several months ago that I just threw in there. They just got really moldy. AbbeysDad - I am ABSOLUTELY overfeeding the worms. I am actually experimenting to see what their max is...I should have mentioned that in the blog. They've been doing a pretty good job keeping up with the volume, but I think this last feeding put them over the top. I started with 3 pounds of worms. I suspect I have more than that now, just based on the number of worms I've seen. The meat hasn't been a problem. For the total volume of food I put in there, the meat is a very small portion. I stayed away from it entirely for several months, but slowly introduced it after Thanksgiving after reading Kelly's response to my follow up question on the "What are worms favorite food" thread: Posted by: Jason_MacKenna Dallas TX on Sat, Nov 19, 05 at 14:24 "I'd asked this on another thread -- but if worms eat the bacteria, protozoa, mold & fungi, then why no meat or dairy products. They moved out to the garage about a month later on the tail end of our high temps, where the worms en masse attempted to leave the bin and return to the air conditioned comfort of my office. I'm relatively new to this, so I haven't been through an entire summer. I think I'll have to rely heavily on the advice of the great sage and eminent scholar Chuckiebtoo, who I am sure, as a fellow Texan, has dealt with the vicissitudes caused by our high temperatures, variable rainfall, and idealogues. My due date is November 5. Sophie was a little disappointed, but she got over it quickly enough, and you're right, Patti - Ben doesn't really care one way or another. :) There is just over 3 years between Sophie and Benjamin, and there will be the same between Benjamin and this little guy. Sophie will have just turned 6 when he's born, and ben will have just turned 3.

My boys are three years apart- they have been "buddies" their whole lives. They are 19 and 16 now and still get along most of the time.

Oh Nicole, he's just beautiful. Like the other two, just perfect. I love seeing that--didn't have them back in my day. I would've loved having a picture of my yet to be born daughter. Never had a boy but I know that Benjamin is a sweetie. We need a Sophie picture fix, by the way.

I used to call my DH over to look at those adorable pix of her when she had her hair up on top of her little head. He got a big kick out of them--which isn't like him at all. You'd of thought she was our grandbaby!! ;0

Beautiful baby! I am so happy for you.
My DDIL is due the middle of November......I don't know when her next U/S will be done. The last one I saw was precious but unable to determine the sex.
I am not sure but I think they do less U/S's in Japan than they do here.

Oh, how wonderful! We, too, have 2 boys and a girl. However, our girl is the youngest. She probably wishes she was the oldest so they wouldn't keep trying to boss her around so much!

After what you've been through, I'm sure you are just thankful you have a healthy baby. It won't be long until he's in your arms!

Wow that sure is clear. Normally, I can't tell the head from the butt. In this case everything is so clear. Medical technology is so amazing!

Nicole he is too cute I am so amazed at these ultra sounds now days. My DD is 27 weeks and I just cry when I see my baby girl 'Harper'. My DD is 41 and this is her third, her other two are 17 and 15 LOL she takes after me that was spacing them out. Mine are 41~27~24:)

What a great picture. I am at 24 and a half weeks and we went in last week and for the third month in a row the baby had his legs crossed at the ankles and the umbelical cord was between is legs. So we still don't know what it is. We have decided on a different name than Hudson for a girl, it will be Madden. Now to wait another 3 weeks for another ultrasound.

On the other hand my sis goes in for implantation of 2 embryos so will be waiting to find out if they take.
