Lindsay may be in trouble again

News reports say Lindsey Lohan plowed her Porsche into a tractor trailer. She wasn't hurt, but she is in an emergency room.

Methinks drug and alcohol testing by police.

She's back at her job, working on her new movie as Liz Taylor, now - just announced on HLN News.

That young woman needs to be encased in bubble wrap - she's a walking disaster. She's still young and I hope she gets her act together.

Maidin, I second your watering habits. I too allow Dracaena soil to dry. Especially in winter. Humidity is another thing, but soil dries. Mike you are absolutely correct about care, mainly sunlight, depending where one lives. But, no matter where one resides, a plant should be cared for similar to it's native lands. For instance, desert cactus grow in sandy regions, hot and direct sun, and little rainfall. So, naturally, let's use cactus as an example, to duplicate it's native lands..We'd set it in well-draining soil, the sunniest window, and water sparingly. If a cactus grew in a dark corner, in heavy soil, and watered daily, good bye cactus..lol.. So, I understand what you're saying about different locals, on the other hand, a person in Fl can possibly get by setting a plant that'd do best for us facing south, they place in a west. Do you understand what I'm saying? Moreso, when plants are set outdoors. BTW, how ya doing? Keltic, is the soil dry? If so, give it a drink...Did the trouble start during winter? Did you repot in a larger pot, or just change soil mediums? If possible, place your Corn Plant in the shower and spray away..If you use 'saved' water, aim shower head on foliage. If not, shower the entire plant. Afterwards, allow corn plant to sit in the tub, absorbing air moisture. In fact, keep the bathroom door shut. You can even leave it overnight..First thing in the morning, remove from shower and set in medium light, working your way up to bright light..Toni

Nothing breaking dormancy here either. Really just one day at +5 but it wasn't all that sunny. I think in general though, snow seems to lose some of it's insulating properties the older it gets, especially if mild weather hits and it develops that hard top to it. Even if it stays cold the drifts seem to sink a bit after a while, I assume from the weight. Still, it must still be able to protect plants somewhat. I find the side of the house always seems to melt first. In fact, even when it's fairly cold out the snow touching the side of the concrete foundation seems to slowly melt and leave an air gap. I usually just keep finding new fluffy snow and piling it on. As much as I hate driving in snow or on snowy roads, hopefully we'll have snow new stuff before any cold snap should hit (or, just cancel the annual cold snap and declare us zone 5). Glen

Did someone say something to make her feel not welcome? Personally, I enjoy ALL of the photos posted here. I don't think it is a contest to see who takes the best photos, but instead to share what we take photos of, and new ideas on what and how to take pictures. I always get ideas on taking pictures from other posters here, and I enjoy seeing what I see in these photos since much of it is so far away from here and I like to see other parts of the country/world. The photo above is excellent, especially the depth of field, which brings the focus on the couple IN the photo and softens the background. The lighting is also very impressive, something that doesn't come easily to me. Once, again, I don't judge pictures here as if they were in some kind of competition. Liz was a lot of things, including wild, but she was not stupid. Lindsey is a walking disaster area. Whenever The Parent Trap comes on and I see how cute and talented she was, I feel bad for someone gone so awry.

I read the accident wasn't her fault, that she was cut off by the semi. Don't know.

There are quite a few people who are responsible for her disastrous life. Everyone that didnt put their foot down when she was acting like a fool, including any judge that she came before. Treating her like she was something special was a big mistake and I hope they can live with that. And of course they will. They helped put her where she is today. She should have been turned over someone's knee years and years ago.

I saw her here in town awhile back, grocery shopping, and she's quite pretty in person. Talented too.

Unfortunately, as brownthumbia says, poor parenting and lack of guidance have left their mark.

She's been doing a bit better, and I hope she finds her way.

We have to remember that 'he who has the money, calls the shots'. This woman has had people sucking money from her for years, so no - they wouldn't do anything like tell her 'no', lest she cut off their supply of 'free' money. That was McCauley Caukin's problem, too, until he stood up for himself, sued his family, and gained control over his money and life.

There is SUPPOSED to be a law that protects actors that are minors, but I don't think it's put into force very often. I think Lindsey's life has been disastrous in several respects because of people who are afraid to 'cross' her - their Golden Goose would die if they did!
