I'm trying to track down a light and I cannot seem to find any info on it. Does anyone recognize this light? any help would be greatly appreciated

I’m trying to figure out what this is so that I can replace it. The ceiling is super high in our entry so I have no easy way to measure the light. I think it’s pretty but not at all my style. The size seems okay though. So if I know what light it is, I could probably find the dimensions online. Anyone know?

I saw this kitchen pendant light in a model home. I've contacted Restoration Hardware and a few other stores to find it or something similar, but no luck yet. Does anyone recognize this light, or know where to buy it?

Ok, here is my thoughts. First, always hang a fixture over a table at 30-33" above table top to bottom of fixture. Second, in a seating area, if the fixture is over an ottoman or coffee table then you just have to hang it to clear heads by 6". So for most that means you can drop the fixture to around 7' above floor level to bottom of fixture. Now some caveats. If the chandelier is heavy, or the shape is unusual or specific, you have to make adjustments as needed. With a dining table that long, you probably should either do 2 chandeliers or one long rectangular shape fixture. To keep things open, you can do a number of things like the cages. The cage shape is rather timeless too. So I consider the "rules" are more like guidelines. But DEFINATELY NO MORE THAN 33" OVER TABLE. This is the most common problem and mistake people make. I also would recommend two different fixtures for over the dining table and in the family room area. They should "talk" to each other (in other words, have some similar elements) so they work together, but lighting sets the style tone in most rooms, so keep that in mind. You also have to consider the light level you need in each space. So, you might be fine with a 12 light in the dining room with that long table, but in the fam. room you only need a 6-8 light. I don't think the black would be too dark and it is very easy to touch up black with a product called Rub and Buff (available at Hobby Lobby and on line at Amazon) in all kinds of metallic tones and you can touch black with gold for example and bring the contrast down. Also, by repeating the black on the center pieces on the table you can bring the black into a total look. I repeat accent colors 3 times in each space. Helps make things cohesive. Here is example of a longer fixture that might be nice, however, you have to tell me the configuration of the ceiling so I can tell if the ceiling junction box needs a circular ceiling plate or not. Also, if you do two fixtures, the fixtures need to be able to hang on an angle. So this fixture above has a rectangular ceiling plate so that might not work on your ceiling. Need photos to determine specifics. But I like the see through aspect of this type fixture and we can find ones that would work with your ceiling.
