Hi Les and thanks for your thoughts. Funny, you mentioned a chaise lounge instead of a chair and ottoman. I am checking CL for both! I either want an chair/ottoman that work very well together-- or a chaise. About the round mirror, I see what you mean. I like the idea of three coordinated rectangular pics over the bed and will keep my eye out for them. In the short term, however,nothing seems to beat the round mirror, so we will probably put it back onto the wall. (When I was painting, I took the mirror down and Spackled the hole, intending to find something better.) "I would move the plants to the corner not shown in these pix, formed with the same large window wall and the wall to the right of the bed." I am not following. . . Finally " Not crazy about the chair next to the bed. It looks crowded. Do you need it there for a reason?" I like having a chair there to talk on the phone. More narrowly, though, I need some place to "hide" some of my DR chairs. Our DR is small and can't take all of them. "I would still think about using the desk/table as one of the nightstands, on the left side of the bed" I like this idea, but it has a few draw backs. The desk is about 6 inches taller than the bedside table, so won't it make the room look cockeyed? Also, DH pointed out that his bedside table stuff is messy and he likes having the shelves in his current bedside table to hide stuff. I did try the desk on MY side of the room (see below), but no one seemed to like it. I would be open to using the round covered table next to the chaise and getting a smaller one for my side of the bed. The round table is actually nice w/o a cover (see further below), so it could look nice by the chaise. desk by my side of the bed with red chair. bedside table (mine without a cover on it)

I'll post some pics for you tomorrow (I don't have them on the I pad). I'll also hit the carriage house and check on the name of the paint. I know they changed the names of the lines despite it being the same paint ( why do they do that lol). But I have a couple of gallons handy here. I know it wad in their professional line so you have to go to the contractors section to find it verses the consumer side of the site. They also changed the name of their bonds and seals primer. I have some of that here too so I'll add that name for you in the morning. If you use the bonds and seals primer made for glossy surfaces you won't need to sand or do aNything else to to your wood. Personally I prime everything with this stuff, but if your ceiling is in a light gray on a now light color you will probably be fine. I have mine tinted as dark as possible for dark colors though which saves on paint. I don't have the paint in my lap, but I believe it says recoat after at least four hours...I could be wrong though. You wouldn't want to guess on that. High gloss paint has an unfortunate brush over issue if not handled correctly. So just be sure to check. I personally like to wait overnight because that's how I learned to paint when I did it for money a thousand years ago. It gives you the added benefit of being able to sand down any mistakes and I find that a blessing with gloss. I can't tell you how many people have tried to talk me out of gloss over the years for both walls and trim, and yet, as will be the case with your gorgeous ceiling, everyone who sees it raves :). I'll post in the am as soon as o shove ds out of the car at preschool....umm I mean drop him off reluctantly because I miss him so much and stuff lol.

Logan: There is no law that says you must each have a mirror. I did all this work on my tile wall and didn't want to cover it up, plus two mirrors would have competed too much with the adjacent medicine cabinets, so I built this: It is perfectly functional too.
