Could you show me your pictures of your corain Cove Backsplash?
Comments (4)Thanks Geekette! that was a picture I was looking for! Just wanted to get the idea. We have a very traditional house (1920's farmhouse, with wainscotting in the bathroom) and I didn't want a look that would be too contemporary. I think the cove would be okay, right? Thanks Tom999 and flyleft--its good to hear something positive about the Corian. Makes me feel more confident in our decision. Now I just have to price it!!...See MoreShow me your backsplash with dark stone counters
Comments (14)I have blue pearl granite with white 4" ceramic tile backsplash, with blue pearl accents (white cabinets, unstained oak floor). Love my BS. Easy to clean and love how it brightens up the kitchen against my navy walls....See MoreGive me your ideas please! counters backsplash
Comments (1)I think butcherblock would look nice on the counters. A white backsplash might be too much white. You might consider a pastel-colored tile in one of the soft blues or greens from the rest of the house. (This may mean you need to change wall color to go with the tile, are you OK with that?) Have you considered updating the knobs on the cabinets?...See MoreShow me your multi-colored subway tile backsplash
Comments (24)olivertwist - thank you-it is my favorite thing in our kitchen. It was easy to install also (it comes on a mesh). I think they have 4 variations, so check the link to see if there is another that you like better. They are all quite different. Be sure you get samples in person. You can also 'enhance' it with a certain kind of sealer that deepens it but we chose not to. I wouldn't say a lot of green. When I look at it I see quite a bit of variation but if I had to pick one color that stood out I think the slate gray does because its darker than the others. There are red (some moving into a pink if you can believe that) tones, clay or an olive green color, orange/rust. I have attached a couple of close ups I just took. The first one is with flash and the under cabinet lights on. The next is with the uc lights off but the kitchen light is on. If you want one in natural light I can catch one tomorrow since it's already pitch dark out....See Morentt_hou
