Hi. Does anyone have any comments on the 30" Jenn Air induction top? I cant find anything in the search. I have to confess Im not really much of a cook, so Im probably not going to notice some of the subtle nuances others might. The other option is Miele. We like the way the Miele is rimmed, but not sure the price difference is worth it for me since I doubt Ill be taking full advantage of either top's features. Plus we get a free DW with the JA (which we'd just sell). THanks,

Hi, I may be replacing my Jenn Air electric cooktop - 4.5 years old and a lemon. Jenn Air is being very customer friendly with this 5th major repair on the same burner. I may have to go with Jenn Air if I want induction. Any thoughts, opinions, or warnings? Thanks, Adele

Tamara....I know this thread is old, but your kitchen is simply stunning! Are your cabinets Chantilly Lace? I read you kitchen delays and had to smile. I've lost weight and sleep over my darn remodel. Who knew how stressful this would be? If you used Chantilly Lace did you paint your ceiling the same. I just ordered my paint yesterday and I'm freaking out that it might be too bright.....

We chose a JennAir 30” slide-in for our first induction range. We cook a lot and LOVE induction. However we have had too much trouble with the JennAir for the price. bought it in late 2018. The element burned out on the big oven (shortly before Thanksgicing during covid so we cooked our entire dinner in the Breville SmartOven Pro.) and took 3+ months to fix. The oven stopped heating properly a second time and this time it wasnt the element, it was the control board. $500 later, the iven works again but for how long. the service rep who did the repair said that both the board and element should last 9-10 years. more like 2-5. the top design also has a rubber gasket that collects food and, within 1 year, started breaking down. it is impossible to get the crumbs out. yuck No, I would not recommend the JennAir
