In my master bathroom we did them dead center and they do appear slightly low.

In the kitchen we just installed the cup pulls. On the top (little drawers) we did dead center but the larger 12" deep lower drawers we did 7" from the bottom of the drawer. We play around with placement and that seemed right to us.

A starting point for a 4 drawer is :center -up 1/8, up 1/4 up 1/4.

jakuvall- What about a 3 drawer?

The top is center, and then as you wrote going down?

My Restoration Hardware pull has the screw at the bottom. I may be off but I was thinking if the holes were always done in the center of the drawer that most of the pull would be above center... Or do you think that's too high?

My cup pulls look exactly centered.
But they are all actually all slightly lower than center.
They were installed by the cabinet manufacturer in the factory.

What I should have said is that the screws are slightly lower than center.
Perhaps they were installed this way because more of the "cup"
is above the screw than below,
thus creating a centered balanced look overall.

francoise- but I guess the ? is is if when you measure them the pull is ACTUALLY centered or if the middle/bottom ones are slightly above center.

I think "center" on a bottom drawer starts to look "below center"... hence why jakuvall posted about doing top one center and then start raising them.

I'm so bad at this (not that I'm doing it) and want to convey my message clearly to these guys. (I"m such a pain).

I know what you mean by them appearing to be lower. Whenever I can, I weight the bottom section of a photo mat slightly larger than the other three, otherwise it can look top-heavy.

OK, so I told him to do top drawers center, middle drawer up an 1/8 and bottom drawer up a 1/4.

I hope that works. This guy wants to strangle me.
