under cabinet light - cabinet above sink

Hi all,

We are finally getting closer to installing the undercabinet lights and I am wondering what people usually use under the cabinet above the sink. I want it to be good task lighting, while being as inconspicuous as possible.

Here is a picture of the kitchen so far:

Our electrician suggested something like:

Not sure how far these will stick out. Do people usually install them so there are flush with the bottom of the cabinets (which would obviously mean cutting the bottom of the cabinet shelf)

Then someone else I was talking to said using a flourescent bar if you can put it close to the front of the cabinet (so it will be hidden - well, kind of - by the overhang of the cabinet) might be best.

Any better suggestions?

Thanks!

P.S. For those of you who remember my problem with the microwave cabinet (the bottom did not line up with the cabinet above the sink), I had it fixed and am really glad I did. That uneven line would have bothered me for a while.
