Rev-a-Shelf waste pull out hardware; Rev-a-Motion
Comments (6)I _think_ rev-a-shelf makes many different kinds of openers. Maybe they all have fancy names to distinguish them and I never paid attention? Maybe that's why sometimes you find items in the clearance that look like what's still selling at MSRP, even with the same numbers; maybe the closing systems change? I have a trash pullout that looks like badgergals, but there's some signficant resistance to pulling it out. I don't mind it, but it's not "soft". I have another trash pullout that's a completely different design. There are no pulleys or mechanism, really, for opening. They just glide out - smaller, aluminum cans. That's very easy pull out-puch in, but there's no self-closing mechanism at all. It's also RAS. To tell you the truth, it none of it matters to me all that much. Not as much as some other annoyance-parameters in the kitchen. I think a lot of thought goes into all this blum/soft-close hardware stuff when it may not quite warrant all that attention, at least not comparatively. YMMV of course. And I'm not saying it's not good to think about this stuff. Just that IMO making a "mistake" on this decision won't be really terribly horrible. =0.02 Badger, those curved cabinets of yours are so very elegant!...See MoreBest place/site for purchasing Rev-a-Shelf items
Comments (5)Thank you! The Lowes in my neighborhood had a limited selection but I did pick up a caddy for the sink door. A & H Turf has the best prices, but I am going with Ovis, since it has the most user friendly website. I love the quality of the rev-a-shelf items. Much superior to anything else I have seen in stores....See More12” wide space base cabinet
Comments (6)I agree with ci_lantro. That size cabinet has limited usefulness, and the framing limits it further. You just need to decide what you might find useful - cubbies (ie for wine bottles?), a pull-out (can be used for spices, oils, with shelves for dishcloths, or even utensils with a hanging rack - search for visual examples), cutting board and trivet storage, pullout with shelves/ bins for your "junk drawer" items like flashlights, batteries, rubber bands.... I have a 9" frameless pullout (maybe about the same size as a 12" framed) that I use for spices. Rev-a-shelf is not the only brand. Hafele, Knape & Vogt, Rockler, SlideoutShelves, are others that come to mind. Do an internet search for those brands, and also search "cabinet pullouts" to find others....See MoreRev a shelf pull down cabinet shelf
Comments (2)I have something like this that folds and fits perfectly under the sink. I'm 5'4", and this allows me to reach the top shelves (my uppers go to the 8' ceiling)....See Moresandra_zone6
