Kitchen Layout Critique - Home Addition

My husband and I live in a house built by his grandfather. We are gutting it to update wiring, plumbing, electrical, insulation, etc. The existing structure will be the bedrooms/bathrooms. We are adding on an open floor plan living, dining, and kitchen plus laundry/garage. This is our forever home.

-I am going to reuse our 5' white cast iron/porcelain? double sink with double drainboards. I love its vintage look and efficiency.

-I plan on having glass upper cabinets on either side of the sink.

-I plan on a window over the sink.

-This is the new addition part so the window is flexible about where it can be put. So are the appliances since nothing is existing.

-The island will have seating on two sides (right and lower side) with legs on the seating overhangs.

I will attach a picture of the whole plan on a subsequent post since I am not sure how to attach more than one photo.

Thanks in advance for any ideas/suggestions!

I cross-posted in bathroom about the master bath so ignore that :)

Jessica
