It comes in stainless steel, which to me looks nicer than brushed nickel and matches well enough with the brushed nickel cab hw. Matches the SS sinks!

I agree with you! Can you come and have a talk with my husband (LOL)? I like the faucet. Its the essence of form and function = art. Yummy. too darn expensive....BUT...yummy.

Sorry, I don't know of any substitutes for the lovely Eve, but I agree with what marcydc said. Stainless steel is a pretty close substitute for nickel as it's a warmer gray and doesn't have the blue hues of chrome. Are you able to see one in the showroom? I can't remember if it's a brushed stainless or polished, but I bet it'd be a pretty close match to brushed nickel if it's a brushed stainless.

It's a brushed stainless. Tell him it'd match the sink! I have the Ono (i like the little stick handle - just seems like less to get dirty/icky).

I was on the brink of returning mine b/c it does not have a spray, but after playing with it at the showroom again I just can not part with it:) Like you I have not seen any other pulldown that recesses in to the neck. And the water stream is dreamy!
Our hardware is polished nickel, and the faucets are in chrome (we also got the insinkerator instant hot/cold filter faucet which will be at the same sink and looks fairly good with the Eve).

KWC has three faucets with the hose tip going into the steel tube. Each hose tip is slightly different. The titanium rod handle on the Ono can be swapped for a thicker handle. Email KWC and they will respond. I like the company, the products and their ability to answer questions. The stainless version of the Eve faucet is really good looking.

I still have not bought my kitchen faucet yet. It's the last thing I need to get.

We are considering the Eve. We love the look, but haven't tried it out. It's pricey though, so if anyone finds a good deal, please pass it on.

Its so strange, you have this "written in stone" budget and then you look at the oven handle, or the Eve faucet, or may all the kitchen gods help you the stunning sink that seems to know your secret name.

Clearly, remodeling is not great for ADHD adults or those who love impulse buys.

I got the Systema, similar look and function though it has the spray and stream. It really exceeds my expectations, looks new after a year and cleans up perfectly. I've been thrilled with it. It is expensive, no question, but with this one I feel it was worth every cent. Kitchen equivalent of a Swiss watch. It replaced a 2 y.o. faucet that looked 15 years old and worn.

I'd try a Bing search (if you haven't) also ebay to see where price is best. I bought online and saved $200 as I got one at old price in stock. This might be a good time of the year if someplace has one in stock, as its a bit slow for renos. Hope you get a deal.

Davidro, super great info on swapping out the handle, that's the piece that made it tough for my husband to love on the ONO (happy happy Hawaiian in that name)
