I did follow your instructions and used photo bucket and did manage to post some photos last night. I couldn't figure out how to get a link to my entire album on photo bucket, though. I did see how to get the links for each individual photo. Buel- the instructions I was having trouble with were the ones at the bottom of the forum page: "instructions how to use this forum" and its associated linked help pages. I realize that the link you posted for me above, to your "new to this forum" message post, does have good instructions on how to post photos. Sorry, I had read that post a few weeks ago, and didn't remember there was anything about posting photos in it. Your instructions are clear. Thanks again.

Birchpoint, are you trying to do it in edit? That won't work. I removed it while still in post mode. What I had been doing when I didn't want the photo was C&Ping the text and reposting in a new comment box. Maybe I had backspaced photos out after the change to Houzz but haven't done it in so long that I thought it was a new trick. The brain gets funny when it hits age 60. Let's see if I can delete a photo from my computer. Nope. I'm not able to right click on it in post mode. Missouribound, are you telling me how to remove my stored photos form my pictures folder? What I meant is how do I remove photos posted in a thread from my computer.

Have you tried shifting the box to one side or the other? Sometimes they have a hidden catch on one side near the ceiling and a hinge on the opposite side.

So many good suggestions so far my head is spinning. kristy, since you seem to be settling in on what you are liking so far with building in bookshelves... could you maybe post a new sketch of the room? Even use your original measurement sketch, just pencil in where you are thinking you are liking shelves going in. If you go with the fill the book nook to match the fireplace, the TV kind of has to stay on the same wall with low shelves under it. If you go with all low shelves, it opens up your options for where a TV can go. If you add in bookshelves, that will likely eat up a lot of budget and be more permanent.
