Countryside website down?
Comments (7)I don't believe they are closed down. I've spoken with Lisa numerous times since last summer. I had also received an e-mail from her stating that she had several "Spice" available this fall if I wanted any. I also got the blank page, so their site must be down. I'd try calling her on the phone. Sandy...See MoreDiscount pottery now that Norcal has Closed?
Comments (26)Like most of you I miss NorCal. When I lived in the BA there was a place that sold seconds on clay chimney pots that I used as garden containers. No bottoms but elevated the plants. All shapes and sizes so it looked way cool. It was in Berkeley somewhere. Don't remember name but I found it under "tiles". Good luck....See MoreHas your house gone down in value?
Comments (29)Values here have gone down some, but not a lot. That's particularly true in this development. We have a community newsletter & a realtor lists properties in the development that have sold, what the sale price was & how long they were on the market. We were in the first neighborhood of the development, so we pretty much know what the build price was on each home & can tell how values are holding up from that. We closed on our loan in June 06, construction was complete in Aug. 07. We refinanced in March 08 because rates had been steadily dropping. We managed to shave off a full point then. At that time the house appraised with a decent appreciation over the build price. I'm looking into refinancing again but it'll depend on how well values have held up. We're at 5.875% fixed now. While we'd like to get that lower, we won't complain too much if we can't....See MoreTHANK YOU TO IKEAFANS
Comments (1)Kudos to you for mentioning James and Susan - their website, IKEAFANS, was the only reason I was able to design and install my own kitchen from IKEA. They were handed a raw deal by IKEA, mainly because the company was revamping their kitchen line and didn't want the IKEAFANS site to confuse the issue. They deserved much better....See Morerobo (z6a)
