anti fatigue mat
Comments (17)I got one of those memory foam mats with the microfiber cover after my December knee surgery for a torn meniscus but now I have another problem!!! It's hard cooking with an 89 pound dog in front of the cooktop.. I like the mat, it is soft and really helps the knee but sometimes since you sink in a little it sort of trips you if it grabs onto your shoe edge. I have a gel type mat in front of the sink and I don't really like it, the memory foam one is more comfortable but probably the gel one is safer. I got the gel one at Costco and the foam one at BBBeyond....See MoreAnti-Fatigue Mats
Comments (2)We're not in Dallas. I'm not sure why it linked to there, unless it somehow picked up that that's where you are from. The mats seem very nice, and comparable to the one I got my mom at H. Depot a few years ago (she loves hers.) We really, really like Aldi. I do most of my grocery shopping there. It's helpful to ask them what day their produce is delivered to know when it's freshest. You'll want to take your own shopping bags, and a quarter for the cart, which you'll get back when you return it to the cart holder. ***I think we ought to let this thread die. I'm going to try to post it with a more informative title....See MoreGellyMats vs GelPro Mats
Comments (10)Ci_lantro...yes, I did, but no "Macadamia" in the salon/shampoo mats either :-( The salon/shampoo mats appear to be the same as the GellyMats, at least based on the "Features" page. KitchenRedo88...I've checked at BJ's & Costco and they never seem to have them in when I'm there! Puppeez...I've been to BB&B and they have the same ones at the stores as they have online. My issue is my DH. He was totally against paying so much $$$ for a mat until he saw the Rattlesnake/Macadamia...it blends into our floor so it's almost invisible. He's now willing to consider it only if we get that pattern/color...but he wants me to find it less expensive! I haven't shown him the GellyMats yet; I wanted to "talk" to all of you first about it. I suspect he's still going to balk at any other color regardless of price, but if the mats are worth it I might try anyway. Part of the problem is that we now want two...I've been lobbying for the 20"x72" for the Prep & Cooking Zone side of the kitchen but now my DH also wants one for in front of the sink on the Cleanup Zone side ("his" side!)...but just the 20"x36"...so we're now talking about two!!...See MoreImprint anti-fatigue floor mats
Comments (8)I splurged on two 5-foot gel pros that arrived two days ago. My Christmas present to myself. The color and pattern are a little cheaper than their other stuff, an "introductory price" for new basketweave product and grey color, plus there was free shipping and Holiday price, or something like that. I must say that already we hop from mat to mat whenever possible, avoiding the floor like little kids who don't want to break their mother's back. The mats will make it easier for me to stand in kitchen on my sore feet. I'll give my mats a workout today when DH's family comes for dinner. Wish I'd known about the Imprint variety sooner. Thanks for posting, Red. People who don't have foot trouble may not understand how significant these products can be. It doesn't matter how pretty the kitchen is if you hate being in it because you hurt there....See Morebreezygirl
