Anyone know this tile (or something similar)?

In considering various backsplash tiles, I came across a photo I took in one of the tile shops when I was searching for bathroom tile. It's a glass mini-brick that has the coloring and shading of a travertine or marble tile:

(See the bottom tile, not the colorful one!)

It seems like it might work great for me since I really like the shading and various tones of the marble tiles, but kind of wanted the more contemporary look of glass.

Does anyone know what this is? Does anyone know of something similar?

Yes, I had tried googling it! But none of the tiles on that link (which really takes you to Maestro Mosaics) is the tile in my photo... :-(

Chief Architect - anyone use it or something similar?

If you aren't going to use it professionally, make sure you are using the Home Designer (consumer) version of Chief Architect (you may already be doing so, but since you called it "Chief Architect" instead of "Home Designer" I wasn't sure). It's much cheaper and pretty much the exact same software. You can also start out with a simpler version (for $60 or $80) and upgrade as you need features. Although, be warned, I ended up at the $200 Architectural version in the end -- you might get hooked like I did. I use Home Designer and really like it. I tried various software before deciding that the Home Designer interface fit my working style best. As a plus, the KD we consulted used Chief Architect and the files are somewhat interchangeable (our KD could import and edit our design made on Home Designer and we could import and view in all modes including 3D and walkthrough, but not edit, the designs she sent us). Their user forums are also great. I had a question once about how to implement a specific feature and someone on their forum asked what level of Home Designer I had and then made me a walk-through video on how to do it with the exact version I was using. The free Google (now Trimble) Sketchup is powerful but has a steeper learning curve, IMO.

Thank you for those links! I'd like to pause, and say that all you garden webbers are fantastic. Using this site is a huge reason why my kitchen came out so nicely, and any issues that came up were solved quickly. But I digress... Is it trendy or classic to do a full wall of mosaic like in the picture? I tried (and hopefully came close) to create a kitchen that was not trendy, and I am also trying to avoid trendy designs in the bathroom. I feel maybe vertical or horizontal stripes of mosaic are trendy, but I want to incorporate some mosaics for color, and interest. I am not a designer, but it seems to me a whole wall of mosaic is less trendy than stripes. Don't you wish people that post their pictures on HOUZZ would answer questions?

I also found this one on Wayfair - pretty close to inspiration picture. The Wayfair rug IS the same as the Jaipur rug : ) . Look at the last photo in the Jaipur link from maree -- it's identical to the Wayfair pic.

Any quality tile store should be OK. Having said that, do you want an EXACT match of something to compliment it? Home Depot has some similar tile you might consider.

Hey, lynn, I think that's it! Thanks!

I was hoping it came in more colors that might go with my cabinets and countertop (though the Bianco *might* actually be good). I'm still wondering if there are other glass tiles similar to that...

Or at least other stores in NYC that sell it. I took that picture somewhere in Brooklyn (Mondial, maybe), and it's over an hour and a half away by subway!!

Charlikin, I am glad I could help. I am good at finding things on the Internet and I wanted to try to help you since you helped me by posting pics of your kitchen. I can't wait until I see the final grouted kitchen. I think the tile you like is very nice. Let us know what you choose.
