New build- kitchen cabinets are in!

Hi everyone! I just thought I would share the progress of our new kitchen. The cabinets are in! They are knotty alder in caramel with a mocha glaze from Shiloh. We're waiting on granite which is Tropical Brown and I'm so excited to see how it will look. I will be requesting help on selecting cabinet hardware and backsplash and will post pics of the lighting and faucet soon.

We had Fieldstone cabinets when we built in 1997. Last year we needed to remodel the house we bought in a different state. I took my finished layout to the nearest Fieldstone dealer. After much discussion, he told me he would be happy to quote our job, but he was certain I would get exactly what I wanted from a local custom cabinet maker. He assured me the price would be better, too! He gave me a name and phone number. He was right! I love my custom cabinets, especially all the drawers custom sized to hold my specific kitchen items.

Very nice. I love stained wood cabinetry and knotty alder has so much character. Your kitchen is going to be beautiful.

Here are pics of the pendants for the peninsula, the chandelier for the center of the kitchen, the faucet and the granite. I'm trying to decide on hardware fairly soon and backsplash later on.

Thanks for the compliments! I would appreciate any thoughts on hardware and backsplash :) For the hardware, I'm thinking fairly simple and maybe a bit rustic? Still not sure if it should be black or ORB.

I know this post is old but I just love your Shiloh cabinets. Please can you tell me the door style and draw style and drawer edge if you can remember. Also are they partial overlay? Thanks!
