18 in spacing between shelves: store seldom used large stock pot...basket with papertowels...napkins..foils..wraps purchased when on sale. Do you have summer items like plastic cups/plastic plates//trays/some place mats/etc.....we seem to have a lot of "summer grilling" stuff-tools/grill accessories...that can be placed into totes/baskets on these shelves. I stack backup supply of kitchen towels into baskets.Remember you need hand /arm maneuvering so you don't want to go too high with item or basket. Blender sits there as I don't use it too often. Mr coffee gets set there when I'm doing other kinds of coffee-pour over/etc. There are some glad food storage plastic containers that stack and when stocking up on certain things like basmati rice/pasta/oatmeal packets they go in those containers-I like that they seal well and stack. Do you have some large casserole or other odd things like old muffin tins/ cookie press...things seldom used that could go into baskets. You can place detergents/ toilet paper purchased in bulk.....get a tote and put wraps/ribbons/tissue paper on a lower shelf. I have a basket for dedicated clean rags of better quality from old tshirts when I want to do polishing/really cleaning up more delicate surfaces......how about spare vases?? shoe boxes with lids on will stack and use up your 18 in of height -label them with extension cords/light bulbs /timer/spare pens/pencils/shoelaces/desk things--labels/note cards/etc.

Thank you so much guys!!! Imkuin - I measured the closet and I dont think it will work. It’s too deep. It is 48”deep by 37” wide. It was a great idea. I think it’ll make a good closet for vacuums, brooms, paper towels, etc. though. David - I did price them. :(. I’ve called aj Madison and abt appliances. The KA double freezer drawer or freezer/fridge drawer is $2400. I live alone and dont cook, and my Thermador freezer is almost too small even for me. The house is 5000 sq feet and if someone ever bought it with a family, they’d definitely want a bigger freezer. Jani - these are great ideas. Thank you! I didnt think of doing one drawer with the microwave. I wonder if that might be a good compromise! Maybe I can just get by with a single drawer. I am going to look into that. Maybe I can put it in the bp then, under the microwave. Fori - Thanks! The plumbing is already in place for the w/d. The reason I moved it is because the door from the bedroom side will likely be open most of the time and I didnt want a sight line into the w/d. The “desk” I figured will look like a floating walnut counter that you can sit at, but you could also put a laundry basket under it. I wonder if I can put a single freezer drawer in the laundry and one in the bp as Jani suggested. I need to price them out. - If I have room and use the instant pot a lot, I’ll probably just leave it sitting out in the bp on the counter.

I would take a tape measure and look at the condiments you purchase.. When it comes to shallow shelving I usually tell my customers to base it around soup cans... it seems to be a good size to cover most things. Also plan on those shallow shelves on the right to only be putting things in plastics containers just in case you bump against them walking in - that is why I had suggested hanging mops and brooms below and doing the shelves higher. Or maybe find something like this As far as the deeper shelves in the back, I was thinking of bulk storage. The closet is 6 1/2 feet deep - with 24" shelves there still is 4 1/2 feet to walk into it. Bundles of paper towels, bins of pet food, crock pots, lobster pot etc... but you can do whatever works for the items you need to store in there... it doesn't matter what we think. Take inventory and plan.. Best of luck!!

If I am reading the plan correctly, the corners will only have 3 inches of exposed opening since you have the "B" wall 15" deep and each side wall "A" and "C" have 18" partitions that look like will be coming out from the back wall. I would think you'd want to plan it so wall A is 33.5", Wall B is 80" across and Wall C is 30"
